Actor Samarth Shandilya turns writer and producer for short film 'Lappad'

Short films have always been around for the longest time, but over the lockdown, we have witnessed some of the finest crafts in that medium of work. Short films, music videos, and similar short-form content has been booming currently, and collaborating with an interesting team for a project, is actor Samarth Shandilya.

Samarth has been a part of the industry for a long time and has collaborated with director Tushar Tyagi, whose film 'Saving Chitu' qualified for Oscars 2021. With the short film, Samarth has turned writer and producer and it is titled Lappadd. Along with the two, also a part of the project will be actor Ayush Anand and Nitesh Galani.

Talking about the short film, Samarth quipped, ''The lockdown experience for me was less about sitting with the limitations and the loss of opportunities, I turned my focus to possibilities and dove straight into writing and making films.''

Samarth had recently worked as a writer for the ALT Balaji series, Who's Your Daddy?
