Abhishek Tewari to be the new addition in Colors' Balika Vadhu

The actor will be seen playing Shiv's charming brother

Abhishek Tewari who was last seen in Life OK 's Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki will soon enter Colors' Balika Vadhu. The actor will be playing the character of ShivRaj Shekhar's (Siddharth Shukla) brother called Mahi. The character of Mahi is very positive, mysterious and charming.

Abhishek will be seen as a parallel lead in the show. He is loved by the family and his passion for the game of cricket and Mahendra Singh Dhoni gets him the name, 'Mahi'.

We contacted Abhishek Tewari who confirmed that news, " Yes I am entering Balika Vadhu as Shiv's brother. It is an interesting character but I don't want to reveal much about it. All I can say is when I got call for the show, I immediately said a yes without even getting details about character. I did so because it is a cult show and also personally I used to love watching the show."

BV rockinggg but yes, I agree that the focus should be on DAdisa's family... I m an old viewer of BV so want dadisa's family to be on the forefront as always !!

Hope this is the last character to be introduced into the Shiv family. We dont want focus to shift from Singhs to Shekhars. After watching BV for 4 years , we are very fond of our old characters.

why are the cvs hell bent on givnig so much imp to shivs family? they are really not the real bv!! they can be small cameos not permenent [part, bv essence is annadi havesli, jagya gauri and shiv , no one else

@Road: I know that BV is an Indian serial, but I highly doubt that the Cvs would ever dream of remarrying Anandi again and again. Repetitive weddings of the same heroine would kill any show. Besides, Shiv has become an important part of BV, I don't believe they would ever want to kill me off.
