Aamir Khan relieved after son Junaid Khan makes successful debut with Maharaj; says, 'Apne Dum Par Kiya Hai'

Aamir Khan is a relieved father. The superstar said that he is happy that Junaid Khan was well-received by the audience in his debut movie, Maharaj. The movie, which is a period drama also starred Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey, Sharvari Wagh and others. Aamir Khan had thrown a party some days back for the success of Maharaj. It has become one of the most watched non-English titles on Netflix from India. Compared to other star kids, Junaid Khan had made a very low-key debut. But it seems like he has inherited his father’s genes when it comes to acting. Even foreigners have loved the chemistry of Sharvari Wagh and him. 

Aamir Khan who was seen in the city expressed his happiness on the success of Maharaj. He said he was relieved that Junaid Khan found acceptance. Unlike Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan or Agastya Nanda, he did not have a high profile debut. Junaid Khan is also very low-key in real life. Aamir Khan said whatever his son has achieved is on his own merit. He said he took up a project on his own terms. The proud dad had organized a success party for his son Junaid some days back. Shalini Pandey had shared pics from the same. 

Junaid Khan has a number of projects lined up. Sai Pallavi and he had been shooting in Japan for a fantasy love story. She shared a number of pics from the city. Aamir Khan had liked the film when he saw it months back. Junaid Khan said he as a father believes in his kids learning from their own mistakes. He said he does not give advice unless someone specifically asks him about something. Junaid Khan had earlier told ANI, “I'm very grateful for the by and large positive response that Maharaj has received. So yeah, it's quite satisfying; I guess all's well that ends well.” 

He also has a movie with Khushi Kapoor. It is the remake of Love Today. They began the shoot in the month of June. They have shot so far in Mumbai and Delhi. Advait Chandan who made Secret Superstar and Laal Singh Chaddha is the director of the movie.
