14 Phere Trailer: Kriti Kharbanda, Vikrant Massey bring you the Shaadi of the year with 2x drama

After a long wait, the makers of 14 Phere starring Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda have dropped the trailer of their social comedy film. 

While this is the first time that Vikrant and Kriti have been paired together, they bring an impressive and heartwarming chemistry to the movie. The trailer starts with glimpses of their college romance to a mega dramatic sequence of events following their big fat wedding. However, it is not a regular shaadi film as it comes with 2x drama and 2x confusion.

Besides the leading duo, they are accompanied with an equally crazy and fun family in the movie, who are sure to leave you laughing hard. Gauhar Khan is a lovely addition to the laugh riot as well.

Director Devanshu Singh says in a statement shared with us:

“This is a close-knit fun family film where you will see that bonding and emotional values are very important. The film celebrates the institution of family and marriage but questions a few basic flaws in a reasonable way. We are not trying to make fun of traditions and customs; in fact, you can watch this film with your entire family, and I am sure you will have a good time. The trailer is just the beginning, you will witness the unexpected twists and turns only once you watch the film. 23rd July on ZEE5, block your date!”  

Leading lady Kriti Kharbanda adds:

“Halfway through reading the script I felt a range of emotions. I was so invested in Aditi and Sanjay and couldn't wait to know could happen next. The intrigue I felt, reassured me that it was a kickass script and would make for super entertaining movie! It’s not just another wedding film, that’s for sure and I can’t wait for the audiences to witness the magic that is 14 Phere! Directed by National award winner Devanshu Singh and written by Manoj Kalwani, the film also stars Gauhar Khan, Vinay Pathak, Yamini Das, Vineet Kumar amongst others. 

14 Phere premieres on 23rd July on ZEE5, and this marks the reunion of both the actors with the streaming platform. Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda, who have been associated with ZEE5 earlier (Vikrant in Broken But Beautiful and Kriti in Taish) now bring a quirky, contemporary social comedy that promises to be a complete entertainer.
