He has seen his parents toil and this has made him tough. He is very mature for his age and he worships money. He wants to make it big in life. Despite being brought up in a warm atmosphere he is not emotional. He wants his parents to relax and enjoy the luxury that wealth brings, but he also wants them to follow his ways. Kartik is intelligent, shrewd and a smooth talker, who knows how to get his work done. He values his position and status in society and fiercely guards it.
Wife of Shubh. Neha had been kidnapped by a don, but a lovestruck Shubh rescues her and they become the perfect couple.
Husband of Suhana. An average middle-class man who does everything for his wife.
A simple poor man, Parikshit gets married to the rich Gayatri, who gets disowned by her father, and they build a life together. HE is the father of twins Kartik and Aditya, Shubh, and Suhana.
Youngest child of Parikshit and Gayatri. She is pampered and wants to be rich, so she puts up a facade in front of everyone of having money.
Kartik's twin. Given at birth by Gayatri to her childless bhabhi Tapasya, he is raised by Gayatri's father to be used as a weapon against Parikshit. Once married to Namrata, he changes his ways and when Kartik becomes swept away by money, he moves in with his real parents and finally becomes their son.

She was originally the love interest of Kartik, but when he starts getting cold feet, Namrata marries her lovestruck boss Aditya.
He is Suhana's boyfriend. When Suhana's family becomes rich, he starts to get interested in her again. To the extend of attempting to ruin her marriahe to Niyam.
