Urmi is Mehta's eldest daughter who is quintessentially a dreamer. She loves music and cinema. Urmi loves to do all that is restricted like sneaking out of college to feast upon the famous panipuri's at lahori gate and to gossip with her best friend Zoya. Urmi is romantic too as she is deeply in love with Sandeep.
Sandeep is the most loved person among the people living in the mohalla. He is a self made man who always lends a helping hand who needs it. Sandeep is a musician. Though soft spoken, Sandeep fights for any good cause where he feels the need to raise his voice.
