Nehlle Pe Dehlla Story

This 'Chaos Corner' produced by Mahendra Dhariwal (Maa Tujhe Salaam) has Ajay Chandok as the man wielding the megaphone. Ajay Chandok takes his directorial dip with Nehlle Pe Dehlla and has no qualms in admitting that he comes from the David Dhawan school of filmmaking. The kind that leaves the critics hungry but the junta laps up the no-brainers nevertheless.

Storyline

The plot borrows itself from the David-Dhawan stable of cornball comedy. Shakti Kapoor plays Bipasha's uncle who is killed by the terrible-trio of Mukesh Rishi, Aasif Shaikh and Shiva. Supriya plays a tantrik who revives him, albeit for a brief spell of 18 hours when he will avenge his death.

Meanwhile, Johny and Jimmy are small time crooks who always land up in jail for their misdeeds. Their meeting in jail leads them to hatch a new plan together - get richer by Rs 30 crores. They join Bipasha's hotel as waiters and are looking for a perfect opportunity to lay their hands on her booty. Also they hatch a story of Shakti Kapoor having come alive to seek revenge. What follows is a total time pass entertainment!

Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan play professional conmen. Both the stars currently riding a success crest spell good news for the movie. The 'Hum-Tum' Khan known for his dot-on timing should be able to cement his position with this comic caper. Dutt too has had a successful outing with Munnabhai. What's more is, Chandoke even claims to present Bipasha with a difference! A lovely lass with some extra laughs?? the audience isn't complaining!

The movie constantly plagued with delays is currently hurrying towards post-production. And if all goes well, it will be looking at an August release.

Hope the fate of the movie is 'Nehlle Pe Dehlla' too!
