<i> ?Lakeer ? The Forbidden Lines?</i> is prolific choreographer <b>Ahmed Khan</b>'s debut attempt at direction. And contrary to what one might have presumed, the director does not go for a love-or-dance theme (with a cast that mainly comprises of non-dancers). His multistarrer film is basically a story of relationships. <br><br>
Arjun Rana (<b>Sunny Deol</b>) is a powerful personality, feared by all. The apple of his eye is his brother Karan (<b>Sohail Khan</b>), who uses his brother's rich and famous image to the maximum advantage and always procures what he desires.<br><br>
On the other hand, Sanju (<b>Suniel Shetty</b>) is a motor mechanic, loved by all. He idolizes Arjun Rana and wants to become like him. His love for his brother Saahil (<b>John Abraham</b>) is absolutely unshakable. Saahil represents the youth of the college and is in love with Bindiya (<b>Nauheed Cyrusi</b>). And, Bindiya happens to be Arjun Rana's sister. <br><br>
The movie deals with how circumstances change when relationships cross the forbidden lines.<br><br>
The film is produced by <b>Vivek Kumar</b> under the banner of Vicky Films Pvt. Ltd. and has music by <b>A.R.Rehman</b> who composes for a Hindi film after a hiatus (if you prefer to overlook his <i>Tehzeeb</i>).
