Anjaam is an Indian Bollywood movie released on April 22, 1994, directed by Rahul Rawail, starring Madhuri Dixit and Shahrukh Khan in pivotal roles. This was Shahrukh Khan's third film as a villain after Baazigar and Darr, both of which released the previous year, ie. 1993. It was also the first time that Khan and Dixit were being paired together. The film was a box office failure, but the lead stars got favourable reviews. Shahrukh Khan won the Filmfare Best Villain Award in 1994 for his role. Madhuri Dixit's role was initially offered to actress Rekha.
