It's not the difference or ratio that makes them jealous.. But the thought of sharing the love their son has for them but in real the love for them is not going to get reduced but they do share their time in real to their spouses.
Many won't understand and many can't understand.. They just view the difference as lack of love for them , especially when it's an marriage of the ward's choice
In meenu's case she clearly wanted mish out coz abir was making it clear time and again that mish was his priority which added to her insecurities
There was no love lost between mother and son in Abir Meenu’s case. They were more adversaries than mother and son! I feel Meenu’s pain at Abir repeatedly rejecting her maternal love from childhood and pining/asking for his father made Meenu more cruel and resentful towards Abir. I feel she enjoyed hurting Abir during his heartbreak phase and even now will take any opportunity to hurt him again by hurting Mishti. Meenu’s maternal love for Abir has been warped into a vengeful love.
After all the surrogacy drama is done and dusted, doctor will call and say maine wrong report dekha tha. That would be an awesome end to the track na? Actors ko sab emotions dikhane ke chances bhi mil jayenge aur fans bhi khush? 😆

No no I truly can't believe this of Meenu just based on how they have shown her character so far.

I don't think so yaar, as abir always says she's more into controlling business and him being an exception made her think that she needs to do something to bring him on track
She sees her activities as an right decision made for abir considering that it will be fruitful in future.. She failed to see that it's not what will suit for Abir... She saw his sufferings but ignored it thinking that it's temporary and the happiness he will get after that phase is going to be permanent.. Which was her delusion not the gruesome pleasure of seeing him hurt.
