Ruhi Birla winning in life is why ITV has gone down the drain

Over the years, TV writing has gone down the drain with cheating, affairs, and adultery being justified. Writers bring on toxicity in leads and ruin the whole character arc by whitewashing the vamp, who is a sidey. And that's exactly what's happening in YRKKH.

It's a serious issue of how homewrecking is justified in the show. Ruhi Birla who married her lub-er's younger brother just to stay close to husband's brother was sickening enough but no, they had to show her flirting and getting close to the married jethji, and this vamp continued to degrade the female lead. They put in "bonding" of the two female characters to show how they have a relation of blood and all, but it's really not cutting it. Even in IRL some of our blood relatives are snakes, and Ruhi Birla perfectly embodied snake-like characteristics.

I will put more blame on Ruhi Birla than on Ar because he at least twice tried to put a stop to her antics, and each time he was gullible (and very loserific) enough to fall for her emotional blackmailing and reverse psychology bait. And who can forget how she forced him to dance with her during that lawyer's party? Ar also got attracted by her lusty moves and tried to compensate by dancing with his wife.

Anyways, going with the current storyline, the way the writers are showing how Ruhi Birla is winning in getting married to her divorced jethji cum tru lub is extremely disturbing. Do they really think homewrecking is okay? Do they really think viewers will support this kind of marriage where a fraudulent woman did everything possible to degrade another woman and steal her husband?

It's really disgusting that the writers are planning to whitewash this homewrecking into some kind of sacrificial victimization because Ruhi Birla's tru lub does not lub her anymore and she would have this epiphany that she came in between two "destined" couple. This kind of clownery is exactly why ITV is going down the drain. A vamp lead gets to have the upper side of life - it's been ruining a lot of TV shows. Sure they are made for bringing kalesh but as a viewer you also want to see the vamp lead getting punished for their shiitty behaviour. And that RARELY happens.

Yes we want the vamp to be punished … and the cheating spouse to be punished too .. just whitewashing them by shedding crocodile tears .. is not enough ..

What's disheartening is that nobody mentioned the "jeth bhabhi" relationship ..nobody frowned upon the concept of marriage in the same family between bhabhi and jeth/devar whoever he is ..is it that progressive or are we orthodox ?

I was wondering the same that how is it so normal ki ek Bhai ki biwi ko dusre Bhai ko de do brother in law matlab Bhai ke jaise, toh us sey kaise shadi and how gulu gulu possible

But there are some places in India where this practice is followed that if one brother dies, then his widow has to marry the other brother. Maine crime patrol mein yeh bhaut dekha hai voh alag baat hai ki voh mara jata hai baad mein lol

People who are watching it are giving free passes to writers to show whatever they want to show. Avid viewers rarely stop watching a show they have been watching for years no matter how shitty the storyline is but that's how they are encouraged to keep up with toxicity. All negative or grey-shaded characters in yrkkh were punished or faced humiliation before redemption. Let's see if they keep showing Ar-Ru facing zero consequences for their actions. Abhira already faced the consequences of her actions.

The worst thing is that they are not showing Ruhi as completely negative. This ph is sick and immoral. Even ganja showed pakhi as a scheming and negative person, but here ruhi will be completely whitewashed like surf ki dhulaai.

Actually this show should be renamed as thu thu thu. woh poddar and goenka house kay bahar jo nonsense board hai, woh show kay title kay jagah daal do cos kaam toh thookne waale hee kar rahe hain Yeh.

this show is so disappointing in treating the characters for their own wrongdoings. Nobody gets their share of punishment which they deserve, ruhi is biggest example here. only one character is blamed all the time for all the happenings. It actually takes away enjoyment of watching the series and only make them regrets watching it in the first place lol

Exactly!! This is the ongoing problem with ITV and why ratings keep dropping. The writers drag the FL's "mistakes" but wrap up the vamp lead's mistakes in an episode or two, or worse show them like they can be redeemed. Nonsense

EXACTLY!! I dont understand why they the writers think viewers will lap up Ruhi Birla's obsessive behaviour towards her husband's brother and her ex-lub-er. In which world will anyone support her after she accomplished destroying her husband's spirit and that led to him dying?

No one wants to see a pathetic vamp lead getting her tru lub when her foundation to get this tru lub itself is wrong. Like who marries the younger brother to stay close to his elder brother? It's super inane
