Karthik is the WORST

I didn't think I would find myself making so many posts in such a short span of time but man oh man! There are far too many irritating and dislikeable characters. & Karthik is definitely one of the top ones. Any chance he gets he blames Naira. Legit the worst husband anyone could ever have. Love isn't just looking at your partner and going "hayeee". This guy lacks so much maturity. Gone are the days when Karthik was reasonable (very beginning of Kaira). He's just a nonsense character that views his wife as someone who constantly creates issues. He needs to be shown the mirror. I doubt that this guy has genuienlly felt bad for hurting Naira so many times because he always seems to find a way to do the same things again. You would expect some sort of character growth/development you know, after so many mistakes and saying sorry so may times. How easily he blames her and then cries sorry. Fake. Kaira jointly have a disasterous relationship, far from "couple goals" like the characters in the show want to believe. Toxic as hell.

The best husband in yrkkh has been naitik he has always supported akshara in every situation and was a perfect example of how a husband should be. Not only best husband but best brother, best son and best father. No one can be like naitik I really miss naitik and akshara the kind of example they used to give of how a couple should was perfect 👌

Atleast they never took anyone's limelight !

And couldn't agree more they were far more matured and loving !!

Kaira can only do " haaye" that's it.

They have failed as kids , siblings , couple and parent !!

Kaira have failed big time as a couple...they only have love that too of teenager level, no trust, no respect, no communication nothing they just know how to romance in every situation that's it. Makers presented them as a couple of today's generation but such a wrong example they are showing...you cannot act so impulsively one moment you want divorce other moment you realise your love and want to go back to the same person... that's not how things work...this is such a bad influence l mean I have seen people calling Kaira best couple, much in love couple, ionic couple, no that's not how your couple should be as someone mentioned here that only love is not enough to sustain and have a happy marriage. 2 times divorce, 2 times remarriage still not a single step towards growth they are same Karthik and Naira that they were during pre-marriage days I think even worse than that.

One more thing Naira used to hate Akshara for her Mahaan behaviour but ever since she has married she is also doing the same things.

Kaira neither evolved as a couple nor they evolved individually.

And Naitik wasnt like some perfect person. He had his faults too despite of that he was the best husband - a time when characters were written realistically.

In Yeh Rishta, I had alway admired the sheer respect and admiration that the ML-FL shared (very few ITV shows have this kind of dynamics). Naitik and Akshara were as real as fiction allowed.

At the start, Kaira were a nice example of a good couple too but only at the very start. After that it went downhill.

Fault lies in not developing other characters. In AK-NK time, all and I mean ALL characters were given an arc - be it Varsha, Nandini, even Sunaina. But now they only focus on Kaira, putting a lot of pressure on them.

This leads to Kaira having all sorts of trouble and divorcing and remarriages since no one else has been developed. Recent Naksh-Keerti divorce track is an example. Everything is about Kaira.

Yeah everyone makes mistakes in life and you learn from it but at the same time you could relate to akshara and naitik. Yes during Akshara and naitik time all the other characters used to get their arc and that is missing now. What i felt now was that everything is getting related to kaira be it naksh keerti divorce gayus insecurities and there many other things which were related to kaira. Kaira have no trust no understanding in the relationship. All they show every time them having romance i love you, you love me kissing each other then having fights divorce remarriage, etc. Common this doesn't happen in real life no couple takes divorce twice get remarried multiple times its stupid. Even when naksh and keerti were heading towards the court they just went and came back immediately they entered goenka House happy face saying that they didn't take divorce I mean no proper ending to the track. They din show naksh keerti having a conversation in the court naksh confessing his feelings and keerti confessing her feelings to no hug nothing they just came back what is this I don get it. For kaira they show entire decorations their confession realization of music being played o more saiyaan.
