Precisely. I am a fairly recent viewer or YRKKH and started watching after seeing the spinoff yeh rishtey hain pyaar ke, which I follow religiously and enjoy. I have watched some of the major episodes throughout the Kaira journey and there are definitely so many misunderstandings and trust issues that persist despite reconciliation. I honestly do feel that Kairtik and Naira never learn from their mistakes and keep making them over and over again with Naira always hiding things or running away and Kartik with his major trust issues and extreme obsessive behavior.

It's been 136 episodes and the couple in the spinoff show perfectly embodies the soulmate definition that you've given and are everything that Kaira are not (even if you consider pre-marriage Kaira). Having said that, not every couple has to have the soulmate connection. Kaira are a couple in love with their own shortcomings and conflicts, but that is how it is in reality so maybe that is what the makers are trying to depict. I don't know whether Kaira have ever been actually called soulmates on the show or by the makers but they definitely are not because I can see the stark contrast betwen Kaira and Mishbir.

I apologize if I have offended anyone, but I am so surprised to see that the couple in this show is the complete antithesis of the couple in its spinoff. That definitely means that the CVs and makers are knowingly butchering the leads' characters in this show despite having the potential to do complete justice to their characters, as they have been with the spinoff.

I know it's not possible as YRKKH is 5 years in the future but Kartik and Naira should really have a chat with Mishti and her boyfriend to learn about what trust, understanding, and true companionship is. I am mentioning the important dialogue said by the male lead in YRHPK that really applies to Kaira's situation as Haalat or circumstances cannot be blamed for Kaira's situation, as they continue to do so.It's only Kaira themselves. "Rishta bahar se nahi sirf andhar se tootha hai aur agar do log saath rehena chatey tho puri duniya unhe alag nahi karsakthi. Par agar wohi do log saath nahi rehena chahey tho koi kitni bhi koshish karle, wo saath nahi rehthe. The makers have honestly set the bar too high for the spinoff creating such a strong and just ML and FL, who despite having their own flaws, always end up doing the right thing. However after seeing how the makers are butchering Kaira, fans like myself can't help but keep dreading that the CVs can and will butcher the leads of the spinoff with each track. I hate being pessimistic, but seeing what the makers have been capable of doing with Kaira, I guess anything is possible on ITV.

Sorry dear but Kaira can not be compared to MishBir... MishBir have just started their relationship they are no where near at the level to be compared to Kaira forget teaching Kaira about anything. This is a show so if there is no issues between lead how an earth will they move the story forward. Let MishBir get married and let pass their honeymoon stage either then all misunderstanding ego clash will start or the show will lose trp. People are reacting as Kaira are the only TV couple who are going through all this. Every single Indian TV couple go through these extreme fights and separation to create drama or there's no trp so who is to be blamed for this..makers or viewers? Mass viewers want to see this so that's what the makers do and if not then show has low trp and and shuts in couple of hundred episodes. But for a TV show yes Kaira are soul mates they fight separate but at the end of the day the are destined to be back together no big hurdle can keep them apart and in my opinion in a TV show that's how soul mates portrayed in real it's a different matter. Kaira have gone through MishBir lovy dovey stage a long time ago so let MishBir get to Kairas stage then comparing can be justified. If you guys are frustrated with this go watch Kum Kum baghya where the couple stay separate more than being together and that show still gets high trp.

exactly...this show is all about karthik and naira and their crazy life , love, marriage , issues etc.. if you love them ...watch the show ..If you don’t there’s really nothing else in it to watch...

The comparison of Kaira with Mishti and Abir is odd. How could a couple who did not even get married be declared better and soulmates? Precisely they did not even write the test of life to get the distinction that is offered to them for free..What did they face? Nothing when compared to Kartik Naira’s journey of life. Naira faced animosity at every step of her married life from K dadi,Swarna aand now Vedika is torturing her life. What Kuhu or Minu did to Mishti is very less in magnitude. Kartik Naira faced so much in life..they are still struggling with circumstances. If people can not empathise with them I wish they should not demean them atleast by comparing them with Mishti and Abir.

The idea of soulmates is a little bit subjective, right? Everyone has their own idea of what someone being perfectly suited for them means. Kartik and Naira have shown amazing and believable chemistry. I can't think of too many other TV couples who are so compelling on the screen as they are. But having said that, they seem incapable of actually living together in any sort of harmonious relationship. As so many people are saying, in their 10 year history they have been together maybe 3 years and their relationship is very vulnerable to outside influences (whether family or miscommunication or whatever). That's not what i want in my soulmate - there has to be trust, stability and communication. But I agree, this is a TV couple and drama and chemistry are what make them watchable. This recent track is crap because the writers have not evolved the characters or their relationship dynamic at all and it is the same 'ghissa-pita" drama and predictable behavior.

With a little creativity they could have made the dramatic situations a lot more realistic and interesting, Sometimes life stresses can mask the strengths between real life soulmates too. One couple in my extended family got married in college (love marriage), had a kid, but had a really tough time with job/money issues and his mother was a real witch. They separated for a year, came back together to try again, same old problems and fights, then eventually divorced when their child was eight. Next five years they co-parented, tried to meet other people but never seemed to make any lasting connection. Then they decided to remarry when their son was fourteen. They have been really happy for the last four years, seem very supportive and loving of each other. But a lot of the stresses that made their early marriage difficult are gone (much better financial position, his mom passed on, child is now in college). They say they were always soulmates and couldn't imagine loving/marrying anyone else but just needed the space to build up their relationship.

It would be nice if this next track took Kaira and Kairav away from the Goenkas who are the biggest obstacle in their happiness (something Kartik had foreseen) and let them also take their relationship to the next level, problems and all. But it's becoming hard to think of them as soulmates when all we see are repeated misunderstandings, anger, ego, misguided sacrifice etc. instead of the mutually kind, trusting, supportive interactions when they first got together.

i have followed kaira till their first separation and after that just read written update or watched some episode and again started watching recently after leap but stopped after this karwachauth drama

i have watched even naitik akshra part on hotstar about completly

i am right now watching yrhpk and even love mishbir but not like mishti character much

but whatever i observed makers surely r just trying to create akshra naitik a simple love story only difference is naksh were having arranged marriage but they would be having love marriage

but kaira really dont know if they r soulmates or not but they surely in real cant be couple and makers surely has made kaira just itv couple with no substance just when want to show them in love and when trp decreases do some separation drama

because kartik honestly was not the character who would doubt naira even for one second or get jealous of her success and dont know how that track was brough becasuse naira was not a designer so it is just itv thing so

kaira definitely r itv definition of soulmate just as many said like kumkum bhagya or any other itv show

but kaira journey in sstart especially till akshra was alive was really nice especiallly their chemistry after that it started deterioting

but the fact is kaira was never able to deal with internal extremes much

dont want to compare with mishbir as their journey has just started and there even not much hope from mishti character

but naksh definitely were soulmates in true sense

No matter how Kaira but they seriously can't be compared to MishBir or there is a need to take lessons from them. MishBir have just started their journey whereas Kaira have had theirs ups and downs since last 10 years but still they trust each other, understand each other.
