Vedika and her relationship to Karthik

I’m confused about who Vedika is and what is her relationship to Karthik. Today it was shown that the neighbors expect her to marry Karthik. Then dadi said that the family did not choose Vedika but Karthik brought her home himself. So who is this Vedika ? I’ll be very disillusioned if Karthik brought her to the house as his girlfriend... also there are comments that this leap in yrkkh is looking a lot like the leap that happened in Naamkarann..but at least there Avni had a solid reason to fake her death..here sadly it seems quite selfish of naira to have kept her child and Karthik away from each other,.and what about all the pain her family went through knowing she is dead..her brother Naksh and father must be devastated..they adored her..

Apparently her father died in an accident due to Kartik and since then she is Kartik's "zimedari".

After today's episode I think everyone's assumes its a given that Kartik and her will marry eventually, even Kartik. They are just waiting for Kartik to come to terms with it.

ok.. thanks I didn’t pick that one up. But I’m a little disappointed in the writing of Karthik. He loved naira intensely but even though he’s grieving..we should have been shown a more grief stricken Karthik..there’s isnt enough intensity and pain in his grief.. in Naamkarann ..Neil Also loved Avni intensely ..but after their 10 year leap we saw an intensely grief stricken Neil..he was almost suicidal ..living in a daze..i would have liked to see that intensity with Karthik as well....where he’s struggling to live without naira..because kairas love story was just as intense and passionate as avneils..but Hegde who wrote Naamkarann was a very intense writer ,.we all used to cry with the leads when they were sad..but I’m not seeing that intensity in the writing here in yrkkh..

I get your point but tbh I am liking how Kartik is being shown. I didn't watch Naamkaran, so dk how Neil was portrayed.

To me Kartik's pain is well portrayed. He's completely shattered, so much so that he doesn't need to express his pain in words. As Mohsin said in his ivs, Kartik is lifeless when he's by himself. He's alive for his family but he's not living.

Idk if you watch the segments, but the upcoming birthday celebration would be extremely emotional. Kartik has been marking each day he has survived without Naira on a wall. The room gave the feeling of a prison, so idk what can be worse than that.

Kartik's pain is still relatable because for him Naira is not coming back. His life is what it is and he has to survive it till it ends for the better. On the other hand, I feel completely disconnected with Naira because if she wants, she can change things. Everyone is suffering because of Naira's one decision. Kartik and Kairav don't have a choice but to live the empty life but she does, so idk what she complains about.

Till the time she is not his wife I'm okey with her...

@bold even I'm liking the way Kartik is shown...something like impersonating the lover...he is living his life like Tina when Naira was introduced in RIshikesh....by spreading happiness...not showing his vulnerable side for people he love and care about...this is a positive character development as previously sadness turned him bitter...beside that he is doing something that can make his Naira happy...by taking responsibility of dance academy...he is letting her die...she is alive as his soul...

Yup looks like only I have only different opinion about this.

We has audience will see faults from both sides.

But being in the leads position, it would be difficult to judge how a person would react.

For me, starting from 2 yrs leap both the leads are flawed

Because, once the trust is shaken, what ever we may do we can't built it again.

People may fo give but not forget. That's basic human psychology too.

Once we loose trust on one person, we may trust him/her second time but not completely as we used to do before.

Coming to kartik, he was in a situation where his self confidence was completely destroyed and any one may play mind games with him.So he questioned naira.

But from nairas view, situations different, the family and father in law needed her in business, though daadi was against it.her husband is not well so it's her responsibility to take care of both her and her husband responsibilities. She was not hiding any major things from kartik. Gayus problem, she could solve without involving kartik in it.

She was about to reveal her pregnancy, she only needed confirmation from doctor ,she waited till then.

When her husband is not well and needs rest,she doesn't want to put him into silly things which h kartik misunderstood. I don't blame him. Bcoz he was not in Co dition to understand.

But for naira, when she was abt to reveal her pregancy, questioning her character had shaken her trust completely. Even after doing this much to a family, if they don't trust her especially kartik questioning it's difficult for anyone to live in that relationship.

If we stand in nairas shoes and see, we can only see that even after giving this much love to her husband, he is not able to trust her. I would have definitely left without turning around

Hiding things is bad.but it is not necessary to share all things with your life partner and disturb him all the time when you can handle most of the things ourself. Naira was this from the start.

Seeing naira now,she still loves him but not able to forget that he questioned her character.

Many will say that she forgave him before bimbblast, but I don't think so, bcoz even she was not in her senses. But when she came, she may think whatever the situation may be how can he question her character.

Kairav is Soo cute.

Also how does this justify her deciding to keep kairav away from kartik and his family and her own...
