No, that was just to make their story interesting. They themselves said 70/80% was real the rest was for drama. There's never been any controversy regarding their relationship or their past.
That's what I thought, but I wasn't completely sure since I didn't know much about their relationship before marriage.
Their love story is actually quite nice and simple, after all they are normal people and not just actors. I'm glad there was no drama like how there usually is in celebrity relationships.
