I think her father asked Bilal to not mention Sadaf's name when he was drinking, Bilal wouldn't change and Sadaf would hear it from her father.

Sadaf is a religious woman while Bilal is an atheist

After Sadaf's father's death, you see that scene where Bilal visit a grave, that's her father, after that he'll change completely
