Not surprised if this is directed by Telugu industry director and producer.

This style of humor lasted even till the 90s.

Mr. Bechara featured Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. He's a widower with baby and she's an amnesiac patient who believes he's her husband. There's an entire joke of her trying to breastfeed the baby and of course she has no milk. Anil Kapoor feels the need to inform the audience that he was breastfeed until he was 3 years old.

This same movie features Anupam Kher as a doctor who tries to fix people's problems in "unorthodox" ways. Opening of the movie features two mothers who give birth. One mother loses her child and the other mother has twins. Since both mothers are unconscious and don't know what they gave birth to, Anupam Kher decides to steal one of the twins and give it to the mother who lost her baby so everyone gets a child. And the movie's message is that he's a better doctor for this!

Ironically enough, Mr. Bechara even has a reference to Ek Hi Bhool, the Rekha/Jeetendra movie I mentioned before that Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya was a remake of.
