I've recently watched the much hyped Bulbul and Qala. I will admit she is a decent actress but she isn't as great as her fans keep saying. She does okay in author backed roles where the script elevates her character (which sort of hides her flaws as an actor). But in Bad Newz and Animal, she was terrible

To each its own. I and someone who is a filmmaker himself agree she is one of the best actresses Bollywood has seen in a decade or more.

"bland"??? that means expressionless...

Are those people who call her "bland" biased against her...or what? ... And "no screen presence"??? Well, what I see is that she is very much present.

But, okay, as Grumpy wrote: "To each its own"... I hope for the movie that far more think in a positive way about her than the other way round...

Could one say less only to mean a lot more?
