Precisely . The trouble glaring enough to confine him to character as pointed out^ thereby severely limiting his BW prospects .

Same issue with Vijay in Farzi as I noticed . Or some Northie actors also .

Mind you that's not to mean to be the case with all non-ethnic actors for eg KK Menon who comes across very much a regular Hindi joe than a Malayali . Just depends on what language they have been regular enough / proficient I guess .
