There’s nothing wrong with what she said if you understand what she was going for. I believe she meant happiness can't be brought by money which is very true otherwise no rich person would be unhappy or miserable ever. This one seems like the “if you have money you have no right to talk about anything” kinda thing. Definitely not the “No uterus no opinion” moment people think it is. She said nothing wrong but could’ve worded a better.

I don't know why people get so shocked about statements like this. These celebs all think this way about the common people, always preaching how in this life it's not necessary to have money or looks when they always have money and looks. Their remarks are always condescending as they pretend they can relate to us when nepobabies like this one in particular have never lived a life where they had to worry about money.

When these people tell us exactly who they are with tone-deaf statements like these, it's best to believe them the first time. Kareena in particular showed her true arrogant colors when during the nepotism debate she told audiences that if we don't like nepotism, we don't have to watch their movies. Then the second Lal Singh Chaddha started flopping, she was begging us to watch her movies. That's when she remembered that all their money and fame comes from us and maybe it's in her best interest to not talk down to us.

I believe her approach to convey the message is not correct. Because she does go to expensive vacation and have a resort or some place in Switzerland. I am not complaining but not many will take her message seriously. She may truly feel that money is not everything but emotions are. Her love for Saif is magical for her. She did mention she feel complete and safe with him. They have built that relationship and worked on it. And maybe she feels it’s been a blessing to be married to Saif and having an amazing MIL and sweet SIL. She do wear expansive jewelry and branded clothes in parties and promotions of her movie.

That is why I really liked when Srk said become rich first and then become a philosopher. I do believe money is very important in today times. Be it education, medical bills, monthly expenses, giving a gift to someone, monthly healthy lifestyle food or learning a skill you need money. With everything going crazy expensive you need money. That sunset is not going to pay your bills. Top of that you must live in a non toxic environment where you feel safe and happy.

I must say, Kareena truly has been blessed with a perfect and beautiful life. Where Karisma had bad luck with her marriage but bebo has in law where a woman can only dream for. She has amazing in laws. If Ash had such amazing in laws she would been working in more movies and been more happier. Sharmila is such a classy lady and I don’t think she interfere in her son’s personal life.
