We take pride in our culture, what are we doing to preserve it??

I am NRI, visited hometown last year.

Dressed in T shirt, capri (well length) - went to market with my SIL to visit tailor. One guy (looked like migrant -parprantiya worker) walking by with his family (? had one woman in her 30s and 7-8 yrs old girl) - passed comment while walking past us - hey katrina, ek raat ke liye...chalegi kya ??

I hold his collar, kicked in 'xxx' and got him on ground, - my brother came in by the time, he gave him few more kicks - lady with him pleaded us to leave him - I was like seriously??? my SIL told me that happens often in market - they learned how to ignore it.

At this point, let us discuss - what MAY be the culprit/reason behind these happening and how/what/where can be done to minimize these visual /verbal / emotional / physical 'atyachaar' !

Men could be the victim elsewhere and maybe not all men but who tells me which man? Can #mentoo not be bought in this discussion? I'm yet to find a man who crouches in a corner clutching his purse for dear life when I enter an elevator at 2 am but I can tell y'all atleast 2 instances where I've opted for stairs at a mall or at my own appartment because I was late or called my brother or father to pick me up. But what about those women who cannot? This is not about them Men. The victim here is clearly a woman not ANY abla man so they can cry elsewhere. Society badlegi tab badlegi... I want to live safe, alive, happy, however I want, wherever I want. History and every mythology tells me dialogue and hogwash-ish blabbering hasn't done that!

How can one woman fight men in lonely places??

We have to find a solution of the cause - limit those inappropriate media - add 1000% tax to watch them - or allow them ONLY at home (registered address of the person) AND record identity and place of the viewer before watching any Pxxx videos - in some central records.

Wth teacher's are teaching students, the little boy is saying ladkiyon ko Ghar se nahi nikalna chahiye, ladkiyon ki galti hoti hai rape mein.

That school boy saying jeans pehnengi to aakarshit honge hi ladke

Bhai sahab kya hoga humari society ka, if this is how our culture is getting adapted in modern society then no wonder victim blaming is at peak.

The recent move by Bengal Government to minimize night duties for women is very concerning. By shielding women instead of addressing the real issue—patriarchal mindsets that perpetuate violence and discrimination—we aren't solving the maim problem. Why not focus on educating and holding men accountable? Putting women in a cage will not reduce these cases; it only reinforces the flawed belief that women are inherently vulnerable.

Normally, I never prefer to press red face, but sorry, dear, it is not against you. It is against the system, against those who interviewed those boys and girls, against those who projected it as if the girls wanted it. What is going on in this country/ world??? Tax on digital things that is not trade is a hoax, things can be solved by a VPN and bypassed by illegal distribution and incognito downloading. Plus there are shady theaters in places like MP/Delhi/UP (I bet all over India) that run p$rn movies.... This cannot happen without police involvement.... People just don't care unless it's them.

We're regressing as a society, there's no other way to explain this. Ofc the official verdict of the protests would be 'dont work past midnight ' and not 'tighten the security, increase police parole at night, equip the hospital well in terms of environment friendly for all, maintain DNA records and retinal scans of every staff member and patient or start a he!pl!ne number in all institutions for internal emergency'

This country would only think about 'human rights' of convicted rapist like Asaram.
