Rape is the most heinous and horrific type of crime. Why is it so widespread now? Why, in most cases, are the culprits escaping capital punishment for this horrendous crime??

It is because there is no fear of the law. Speedy justice is not there. Fair trials are not there. Girls wear even more skimpy clothes in foreign countries. How many of our Indian folks dare to even touch them?? Because they know they will be behind bars for 10 years straight away. No connections, no money will help. Allow the same to happen in India, and all these cruel animals will stop. Inadequate punishment is one of the main causes of this cruel act.

Feeling of “can get away” with the crime among the rapists, mainly because of the non-governance of an elected government!!

It used to be that you would become superior if you offended their family women. This is a remnant of a bygone era! This led to many epic wars and was characterised as the patriarchal assertion that one might achieve supremacy by insulting / abusing ladies! This is one angle.

Uncontrollable lust, a psychological disorder, is the root cause of this criminal tendency to harm another person physically and emotionally.

Fulfilling lust without thinking about the need to obtain consent beforehand is a multilayered offence. The dominant position of men in society is the primary reason for such criminal offences.

Through such a horrific deed, man is reduced to the level of an animal, acts without fear, and believes that his upbringing and cultural norms, which have always pampered him with extraordinary liberties, give him the right to do that crime! The most important point is that the severity of the punishment our legal system inflicts for this kind of crime is insufficient in comparison to the gravity of this heinous act.

It's interesting to note that, contrary to what some of our leaders would have us believe, provocation, alcohol, drugs, and clothing weren't the most common triggers, the main reason for the occurrence of rapes is the delayed and frequent denial of justice. smiley19

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal recently commented that rape tendencies start with drug and sex rackets. Earlier, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said rape cases are on the rise in the country because men and women interact with each other more freely now. The Khaps of Haryana have their own bizarre reasoning.

Jitender Chhatar, a khap panchayat leader, blamed spicy food on the growing number of rape cases??!! Another Khap leader, Sube Singh, said women should be married off by the age of 16, so that they have their husbands for their sexual needs, and don’t need to go elsewhere?? This way, rapes will not occur. Really?? Why are these leaders not punished yet??

Fathers, brothers, elders, and young ones are all preying on a vulnerable girl like vultures attacking the young chick cruelly; epics told of the consequences of war and the ruin of an entire clan for those who committed such crimes; Sigmund Freud, the scientist, classified them as psychological diseases.

Preventive measures are necessary now. It occurs in cars, on streets, in parks, in schools, and even in hospitals, where a great number of lives are given a second chance for survival. Age, race, or social standing are all irrelevant to the rapist.

The agonising aspect of the Nirbhaya case, or any other rape case for that matter, is releasing the offender under the guise of a minor! Why wasn't he penalised if he had committed an adult crime?

Personal safety, however, must begin with the individual herself. Think! Keep using your mind to think of alternative actions for escape. You have to take care of your own safety. In such dubious circumstances, give your local police department a call and stay in close contact with your family.

Friends, stay safe, stay vigilant, attempt to help those in need, and support those who are suffering.

Bold - this is ridiculous 😡😡😡😡how can they even say such things, them being in such powerful position just make this so much more worst.

Instead of normalising this they need to make it the most offensive crime with severe punishment, and women ko commodity ki Tarah treat karna band hone chahiye

Women aren't responsible for criminals mental issues.

When I read that girl's father refused compensation and demanded justice I really got emotional. She's playing with people's lives, a family's whole world shattered and she's trying to quantify it with money

I ask myself, what kind of people do this? What has gone wrong that they become such monsters? It's so sick. Why are such offences covered up again and again? Why did the conviction at Nirbhaya take 8 years? Why is the Kolkata case being tried to be covered up? Is it to protect potential perpetrators? Why?

Why are women, victims, always questioned? Why should a woman not walk alone at night? Why not wear short skirts? It is obviously normal that the perpetrators - men - are allowed to regard women as fair game and shamelessly commit offences against them as they please! Why? Why not lock the men up at night? Why not punish every case of abuse mercilessly? Men must learn to control their urges! Every human being has the right to be treated with respect and dignity.

There are many women in history who have suffered injustice. Women were treated as second-class citizens, not allowed to make their own decisions, not allowed to study, etc. And not much has changed in reality to this day. Paper is patient! Women are portrayed as se***al objects, mistreated, treated unfairly, paid less at work and so on. Movies, social media, media openly show abuse and harrassment, glorify violence. The inhibition threshold has sunk, elbow mentality prevails. Whatever you want is taken mercilessly without consideration. If you encounter resistance, you get your way with brutality. Values such as respect, charity, justice and empathy have become foreign words and are being replaced by merciless selfishness! These values should be taught to children by their parents. Sons should not be glorified and brought up as little pashas. Boys and girls must be treated and educated equally.

Every human being, regardless of gender, is a human being and every human being has the same rights to respect and dignity. At the moment it seems to be getting worse for women rather than better. Always just empty promises. To gain votes? In the end, as always, nothing happens!

I guess, it's a further long way to a world where every woman is safe, respected, and free.

And when women come and talk about equality some 3rd class mind set people start giving comments like can women work as labour, CAN women build a wall, can women work outside in heat for 12 hours.

If such people think men's contribution in the society is manual labour then why are they even working in offices and corporates, just do what you're supposed to do and let women sit in chair and work.

And women actually do manual labour as well, I have seen plenty on construction sites.

Instead of discussing how to make society more livable, people are just trying to pull other groups down 🙄

Prajwal Revanna after raping almost 3000 women has gone underground,Ram Rahim & Asaram even after being convicted rapists are roaming free on parole,Hathras rape victim was cremated without even letting the family see her by government officials to safeguard the criminals,Bilkis Bano's rapists were welcomed like heros with garlands.

Such is the situation of this country where r*pe is so normalized & is weaponized against women for gender, caste or religion based reasons.

As long as there's no death penalty for every rapist within 3 months of being convicted, televised live, there will be no end to this, men should shiver at the thought of even thinking of something like r*pe.

Oh yes! 💯% agree ! It seems to be a habit to pull others down!

If this arrogance and contempt for women would stop, the world would be a little better. Live and let live.

But you can also see this among women. Instead of supporting each other, they go against each other to make themselves look good 🙄

The Abhaya case is a grim reminder that women's safety remains elusive, even years after Nirbhaya. It's unacceptable that women can't feel secure in their own workplaces. The fact that such heinous crimes continue to occur with alarming frequency is a sad reflection of our society's failures. We need to do better, and we need to do it now.

I might be in minority but women turning lioness and fighting is not what is needed here... Creating a safe environment BY LAW is, implementation of that law and order in an efficient manner is, treatment of equality that is ingrained not heaped on by law.

Also maybe you can wrestle one man, how do you wrestle a gang and how do we propose a 80 year old woman or a 3 year old woman to take on men twice their size while bearing the shame and izzat society puts in their vagina? Moreover how does a dead woman fight? The current Kolkata victim is being a victim of masturbating men on p0rn sites. How does anyone of us fight that? You cannot sit and school world's largest population🤷 And what good a death penalty is if it takes 8 years to implement? Asaram is out on parol as we talk.

Also Destruction of this following mentality is. How do we propose to break this water tight regressive mentality?

^If one of the woman from this video is raped, I totally see her blaming herself and marrying her abuser while playing sister wife to another woman he'd rape in future. BW is by extension example of our society.

Men could be the victim elsewhere and maybe not all men but who tells me which man? Can #mentoo not be bought in this discussion? I'm yet to find a man who crouches in a corner clutching his purse for dear life when I enter an elevator at 2 am but I can tell y'all atleast 2 instances where I've opted for stairs at a mall or at my own appartment because I was late or called my brother or father to pick me up. But what about those women who cannot? This is not about them Men. The victim here is clearly a woman not ANY abla man so they can cry elsewhere. Society badlegi tab badlegi... I want to live safe, alive, happy, however I want, wherever I want. History and every mythology tells me dialogue and hogwash-ish blabbering hasn't done that!

I may be in a minority , but both men and women need to work on themselves to improve the society. I have witnessed countless women who have biased thoughts favouring men while imposing restrictions on women. Yeh kapde nahi pehno , yahan nahi jao etc etc are the ideas which even some women approve of. Now what kind of upbringing would they give to their sons , or how these females would influence their brothers , friends , students etc.

To make it very clear , It's not about women single-handedly driving the course of society but rather we taking equal role and accountability for society's good and evil respectively.

Understand the difference. It doesn't mean the victim is to be held responsible but rather the criminal person who committed this crime , his family's women too need to be questioned along with the male members. A person's behaviour is a reflection of his family values.

These movies which objectify and degrade women have female audiences as well, actresses justify and advocate cheap item songs and dialogues under the facade of art. The theme of majority of cuss words is about disrespecting women but yet I see countless women blabbering such words in order to sound cool.

Change would happen when people will seriously look at their own selves. But people nowadays are more busy in naming ceremony of the victims. It isn't the release of some movie sequel or book series.

As we all know, in the Mahabharat, Draupadi’s humiliation in the Kaurava court stands as one of the most tragic moments in our epic history. Her cries for justice and the silence of those around her left a lasting impact, reminding us of the importance of protecting the dignity of women. Back then, Lord Krishna intervened to save her from the cruelty of Duryodhan, Dussasan, and Shakuni.

But what about today? In this Kaliyug, who will come to save our daughters, our sisters, from the monsters among us?

From the horrifying Delhi Nirbhaya case (a decade earlier) to the recent Kolkata Abhaya RGKAR rape and murder case, our society continues to witness acts of unspeakable violence against women. These incidents are not just isolated events; they are reflections of a deeper problem that persists in our world.

While it is true that not all men are responsible for such atrocities, it is also true that these crimes are overwhelmingly committed by men. This pattern is undeniable, and it calls for introspection and action.

In the past, wars were fought to avenge the dishonor of women. When Sita was kidnapped, it led to the great battle of Ramayana. When Draupadi was humiliated, it sparked the Mahabharat war. But today, when women are assaulted, we often see only candlelight vigils and silent protests.

Who taught our women to hold candles instead of weapons? Who told them to suffer in silence rather than fight back?

In this Kaliyug, Shri Krishna may not come to save our Draupadis. Instead, it is up to women themselves to channel the fierce energy of Maa Kali and Maa Durga. It is time for women to reclaim their strength and courage, to rise up against those who seek to harm them.

The time has come to stop waiting for a savior. The time has come for every woman to become her own savior. To every Duryodhan and Dussasan of this era, let it be known that women are not weak. They are the embodiment of Shakti, and they will no longer tolerate injustice.

Let us teach our daughters to be warriors, not victims. Let us empower our women to protect themselves and stand strong against the darkness in our society.

This battle is far from over, but with courage and unity, we can hope to create a world where every woman is safe, respected, and free.

Please yaar...Mujhe bhi tag kiya karo koi. Maine last time bhi bola tha.

Please.
