I ask myself, what kind of people do this? What has gone wrong that they become such monsters? It's so sick. Why are such offences covered up again and again? Why did the conviction at Nirbhaya take 8 years? Why is the Kolkata case being tried to be covered up? Is it to protect potential perpetrators? Why?

Why are women, victims, always questioned? Why should a woman not walk alone at night? Why not wear short skirts? It is obviously normal that the perpetrators - men - are allowed to regard women as fair game and shamelessly commit offences against them as they please! Why? Why not lock the men up at night? Why not punish every case of abuse mercilessly? Men must learn to control their urges! Every human being has the right to be treated with respect and dignity.

There are many women in history who have suffered injustice. Women were treated as second-class citizens, not allowed to make their own decisions, not allowed to study, etc. And not much has changed in reality to this day. Paper is patient! Women are portrayed as se***al objects, mistreated, treated unfairly, paid less at work and so on. Movies, social media, media openly show abuse and harrassment, glorify violence. The inhibition threshold has sunk, elbow mentality prevails. Whatever you want is taken mercilessly without consideration. If you encounter resistance, you get your way with brutality. Values such as respect, charity, justice and empathy have become foreign words and are being replaced by merciless selfishness! These values should be taught to children by their parents. Sons should not be glorified and brought up as little pashas. Boys and girls must be treated and educated equally.

Every human being, regardless of gender, is a human being and every human being has the same rights to respect and dignity. At the moment it seems to be getting worse for women rather than better. Always just empty promises. To gain votes? In the end, as always, nothing happens!

I guess, it's a further long way to a world where every woman is safe, respected, and free.

I think everyone knows who is trying to cover up the case and why , it's just that no one wants to talk about the real truth and fact. Instead of talking about the real problem people are more passionate about generalizing the anarchy in particular states to whole India and maligning the country's name.

They are also using a scapegoat to effectively shut down the case. It's very clear that multiple people were involved in this brutal crime . The accused in question may or may not be guilty , but there are definitely others involved which are being saved by the clown.

Rape is the most heinous and horrific type of crime. Why is it so widespread now? Why, in most cases, are the culprits escaping capital punishment for this horrendous crime??

It is because there is no fear of the law. Speedy justice is not there. Fair trials are not there. Girls wear even more skimpy clothes in foreign countries. How many of our Indian folks dare to even touch them?? Because they know they will be behind bars for 10 years straight away. No connections, no money will help. Allow the same to happen in India, and all these cruel animals will stop. Inadequate punishment is one of the main causes of this cruel act.

Feeling of “can get away” with the crime among the rapists, mainly because of the non-governance of an elected government!!

It used to be that you would become superior if you offended their family women. This is a remnant of a bygone era! This led to many epic wars and was characterised as the patriarchal assertion that one might achieve supremacy by insulting / abusing ladies! This is one angle.

Uncontrollable lust, a psychological disorder, is the root cause of this criminal tendency to harm another person physically and emotionally.

Fulfilling lust without thinking about the need to obtain consent beforehand is a multilayered offence. The dominant position of men in society is the primary reason for such criminal offences.

Through such a horrific deed, man is reduced to the level of an animal, acts without fear, and believes that his upbringing and cultural norms, which have always pampered him with extraordinary liberties, give him the right to do that crime! The most important point is that the severity of the punishment our legal system inflicts for this kind of crime is insufficient in comparison to the gravity of this heinous act.

It's interesting to note that, contrary to what some of our leaders would have us believe, provocation, alcohol, drugs, and clothing weren't the most common triggers, the main reason for the occurrence of rapes is the delayed and frequent denial of justice. smiley19

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal recently commented that rape tendencies start with drug and sex rackets. Earlier, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said rape cases are on the rise in the country because men and women interact with each other more freely now. The Khaps of Haryana have their own bizarre reasoning.

Jitender Chhatar, a khap panchayat leader, blamed spicy food on the growing number of rape cases??!! Another Khap leader, Sube Singh, said women should be married off by the age of 16, so that they have their husbands for their sexual needs, and don’t need to go elsewhere?? This way, rapes will not occur. Really?? Why are these leaders not punished yet??

Fathers, brothers, elders, and young ones are all preying on a vulnerable girl like vultures attacking the young chick cruelly; epics told of the consequences of war and the ruin of an entire clan for those who committed such crimes; Sigmund Freud, the scientist, classified them as psychological diseases.

Preventive measures are necessary now. It occurs in cars, on streets, in parks, in schools, and even in hospitals, where a great number of lives are given a second chance for survival. Age, race, or social standing are all irrelevant to the rapist.

The agonising aspect of the Nirbhaya case, or any other rape case for that matter, is releasing the offender under the guise of a minor! Why wasn't he penalised if he had committed an adult crime?

Personal safety, however, must begin with the individual herself. Think! Keep using your mind to think of alternative actions for escape. You have to take care of your own safety. In such dubious circumstances, give your local police department a call and stay in close contact with your family.

Friends, stay safe, stay vigilant, attempt to help those in need, and support those who are suffering.

It is Kali Yug, let us take Kaali avataar to punish these people!

According to a report submitted by the Justice V. S. Sirpurkar Commission, which was established by the Supreme Court to look into the alleged encounter of four accused people in the 2019 gangrape and murder of a veterinarian on the outskirts of Hyderabad, It's possible that the accused were shot by the police as a kind of reprisal.

Section 46(3) of the CRPC empowers police to use force to the extent of causing death of a person accused of an offence punishable with death or imprisonment for life if such a person resists arrest or intends to evade arrest. Thus, an encounter per se is neither illegal nor indefensible.
