Yes, just like Ranveer for Gully Boy and 83, otherwise he wouldn't stand a chance against Shahid, Hrithik and Vicky performances in 2019 and 2021.

It's a very long story, are you sure you want to listen? It's ended quite awfully for me. My repugnant face keeps me from logging in. However changing it to something pleasant seems like a victory for this nakama .. I am at a complete loss.

This picture makes me happy though..

Apart from Rishi who didn't confess but bragged about how he was able to get an award by buying it, others here are just accused based on repeated assumptions with no proof...just to boast here about a knowledge they don't have.

I only know about SRK who once got tempted (he knew about some of the actors who had paid certain people of Filmfare-influence, so he early on tried to do the same) but thankfully, he talked to someone who really liked him and didn't want him to getting corrupt (and also knowing that he was already chosen for an award). Admittedly, SRK got ashamed and he neither tried to buy an award nor did he need to buy one in future as there always had been influential people liking/loving/ valueing him to lobby/vote for him - even surprising him ... the last one had been Mr. Nazzaro who - to make it clear - admires SRK as an actor and person and simply whished that SRK gets this award (which isn't the lifetime achievement award of the Filmfestival as such but one that is given - since 10 years - as the "Pardo alla Carriera Ascona-Locarno Tourism Award" with a golden leopard during the festival).

As for Filmfare one should blame Jitesh Pillai's (and some other's) affection for/addiction to SRK...interestingly, when this affection did not result in things which had nothing to do with SRK's work as an entertainer, he didn't get one anymore from Filmfare (since 2012, he was always nominated but not awarded - but he still hosted and danced).

I won't comment on others, but on SRK as I know for a fact how people genuinely wanted to award him because of their own emotional connect and influence...and simply wanting to BE with him (and were so happy to be able to honour him).

He even revealed how Shashi Kapoor created fake hype for the movie because he was one of the distributors of Bobby. Those days movies don't used to get released in the same week nationwide. So after Mumbai release, it was time for the Delhi or some other city release. Shashi Kapoor printed Bobby T-shirts and paid students to receive Rishi at the airport wearing those tees.

Thank you for sharing and confirming.

What I don't understand from the haters' argument is that if SRK was really buying awards, why hasn't he won a Filmfare since My Name is Khan? He was the audience favorite to win for Jawan or Dunki this year but even with dual nominations, he lost. More than a decade without a Filmfare win so how could he be paying for awards? For that matter, Hrithik won just as many Filmfares as him in the 2000s but nobody accuses him of buying awards? Or Big B for that matter.

On the other hand, we have Rishi Kapoor who has outright stated he bought his award. Shahid Kapoor couldn't win the Filmfare for controversial Kabir Singh but Ranbir could for Animal. Alia has no business having five Filmfare Awards, tying with the record, but she's got them somehow and for a subpar role like Rocky aur Rani. The evidence is very clear that one family does have a history of buying awards and it's the Kapoors and their new bahu. In a fair world, Alia would have 0 or maybe 1 Filmfare if we're being generous to validate her insecure feelings.

I'm not here to accuse others only on assumptions...and honestly, I don't care...I care for ShahRukh and counter people who just w a n t to think bad about him without the needed knowledge.

The different Indian awards are just there to fawn on the own filmindustry (regional for that matter) and to literally show-case parts of the entertainment industry and its sponsors.

If someone is happy to get an award, fine for them...the audience/public will have its own feelings and - in our times of opinion-giving-overkill - will show that.
