It was! It definitely was! And it shouldn't be discredited. When I read about it, I thought someone was faking it. It was only when I saw it and took part in it myself that it felt real. Not just Bollywood but in general a historical moment for womanhood! It is very rare for women to be celebrated. So very very very rare.

Finally watched it in theatres and oh man it was so good! Shraddha has got to be the first actress ever to get the hoots and whistles that are usually reserved for Salman or SRK entries. I mean it! Literally people were standing up and hooting and whistling when Shraddha made her entry (I was one of them as well!).
On the film itself, it was really good. It's hard to find good sequels, but this one was a well-done sequel. Yes at times it was kind of predictable, but that is expected after the first film's twists have been revealed. The story picks up from Stree and carries it forward.
One thing that confuses me is that in the first movie, She wanted Stree's braid because it had all the power but after the relationship between She and Stree is revealed in this film, why would She have done that to Stree? That part didn't make sense to me or maybe I missed something. Other than that - loved it 100%!
