because someone might have been Salman's girlfriend, but that does not mean they could ever act. We have just been watching his exes in action. He picks them, we watch em'. Ditto for that guy Mahesh Bhatt. He probably finds them in a nightclub, not in any acting school 
So true. The movie would have been a better watching experience if not for her. Such a waste of good character.
