Rule is only for disqualification. So far all got disqualified before finals so there was no need for appeal. May be this is first time someone reached finals and got disqualified hence question of medal comes into the question. They should have seen this contingency beforehand.

Also yes agree about points by passivity and later points earned winner. Bhai saab give points to the one who scored first and made an effort and not to the one who is passive. Wrestling Competition hai Sleeping nahi.
