It looks like story will play in flashbacks n then the reentry of FL will happen at the later stage. Starting mein you will see dukh dard peedha n then the later part is probably the obsession.

That’s what I was thinking. The timeline won’t be linear. We might start from his depressed phase where she’s already gone.

I also feel the same. She marries Bilal out of some majboori, starts falling for him and then finds out some truth about Bilal and leaves him. Then time jump and all the angst and devdas phase

Have we considered the scenario where he was a drunkard before meeting Sadaf ? And then gives up alcohol and becomes better for her as he falls in love with her. Coz in the first teaser, Bilal mentions how she made his life better.

that's a possibility but looking at his beard transition, I feel like she left him or broke his heart. But looking at Maya's expression, I don't think she loved him. I'm gonna go with one sided love theory.

Why do I feel like the dance is just for the teaser and maybe the OST. We might not even see it in the episodes. I do hope they have some nice scenes together and that they are not all imagined. It looks like they go through a friendship phase.

Seriously doubt it’s in an episode as a real thing. She’s dancing for him before he joins her. When has that ever been a thing in our dramas except in an imagined sequence. Warna aik shareef middle class larki na mehram mard ke saamne aise nahi naachti

Yes I hope so too that it’s not completely a cop out like Mein’s ost video was. Some aspect of it has to be real, I hope.

May be he is a drunkard, lonely man with some trauma before he met her. Then he quits when she comes in his life... but then he starts drinking again after she leaves him

His look in drinking scenes is thick beard. There is time jump and Bilal in destruction/devdas phase
