Sadaf could maybe be an employee at his workplace, just like Hira. Otherwise can’t think of a logical way for someone from his background to cross paths with a middle class girl.

Bilal Abdullah has literally ALL the right ingredients to be a fascinating and rich complex character if we’re given a focused script on him and his perspective. Not to mention Wahaj will eat this role up. Literally custom made for his strengths as an actor. But I don’t want to get myself too worked up about this because I have trust issues with Khalil 😡 He better not rob us. Because this could be EVERYTHING I want to see from Wahaj 🥹

I have been seeing a lot of unnecessary shade and useless comparisons on X on the YT views of SMD's first teaser since yesterday. Here is the data to set the record straight.

Instead of comparing with Green which has fewer subscribers, a better comparator would be YT views of first looks of other Geo/Ary/Hum shows. All in all, SMD's first look YT views are doing well, considering it has just been four days

Note: I may have missed FT2 first teaser but that still keeps SMD in top 10 list.

Another thing I want to add is that the first 2 teasers seem very Wahaj- focused and from the perspective of Bilal Abdullah. And Khalil loves his self sacrificing heroes. So (despite our predictions based on how little Wahaj has shot for the show), it’s actually giving me the vibe that this is primarily Bilal Abdullah’s journey. We get an insight into his journey of redemption, love and sacrifice. I would love that personally. I deserve it after Mein

I am not sure if you have seen Ranjhana. It's a really good movie which had a similar ending and precisely why it went on to become one of the cult classics when it comes to love stories.

There is a reason why a lot of tragic love stories end up becoming iconic and memorable...be it Laila Majnu or Devdad or Kal Ho Na Ho.

Also, I stated my personal preference when it comes to fiction and fictional characters. I am not averse to happy endings in fiction but tragic love stories are far more interesting for me... To each his own.

Exactly, it’s only been 4 days and it’s in the top 10. Maybe some people are comparing it episodes that generally get more views. These teasers are posted across SM where most people are watching it.

There is no doubt, the show will do well but I'm also worried about the writer. He usually doesn't let anyone change his story! Good thing is the producers won't able to stretch it.
