At least V kept Maa happy for 25 years before he was exposed. He gave her clothes, jewellery and kids. She felt content with him. Her children were grown up. If V wasn't exposed, Maa would have led a blissful life with her phemily. Whereas Anuj gave her responsibility of a kid who was as old as a grandchild, too much drama, lack of a stable relationship, a daughter who hates her, a family who never needed her, a troubled man who humiliated her publicly, a man with mental issues, a friend who became a rival, a guy who physically abused her daughter and most importantly, a disability to gave a long lasting relationship like normal people.
