Ummm Vanraj asked her to get out like 77478272672 times. She proudly says she won’t and declares she’d be back next day. And she does ! 

Shruti asks her to leave Kapadia house, she says she won’t. She just won’t leave her 2nd ex-husband’s house in Amreeka.

Misplaced priorities are the reason why Anupama and Anuj's wedding ended in divorce after 3 years. Anuj knew very well that he will be getting into a mess by marrying Anupama. Anuj should not have married Anupama who was so attached to the toxic Shah's after her divorce. As a result 26 years of Anupama's loveless wedding to Vannu proved to be a hurdle to Anuj's wedding to Anupama whom he has waited for 26 years. Anuj was never happy after getting married to Anupama. Kavya could have saved Anuj and Aadhya's lives had she not married Vannu. Kavya would have been ideal wife to Anuj. But instead, Anuj could have married a girl (Other than Anupama, Anupama was not the right choice for Anuj) in the US itself who matched his status, who was well educated and who would really care for him. Had Anuj married at the right age, he could have had his own children instead of having to adopt CA aka Aadhya from an orphanage.
