Krishna's need to be impartial

At this time, the core dilemma for Krishna is to alleviate Aryaman's fears and support Mohan in their transition to become Mohini. A glimpse of her seeing them both as being subconsciously equally important was referred to in multiple sequences early on in the show, now is her agni pariksha to do justice by both parties.

https://x.com/mahxtales/status/1787142211982987305

We know Krishna's dreams hold the key to what is going on in her mind, and to see this foreshadowing that Aryaman as the protector of Mohan when she cannot find them, even when Arshna did not actually have any such relationship of that nature, is basically going to be the entire premise of this show. In the end, she wishes to see both together in her life.

https://x.com/in_ahso/status/1793537843442438608

Another subtly well done scene, with no dialogues is the "Aap mere Saarthi, main Mohan ki.." when Aryaman takes Krishna's hand to lead her forward in her life, and she holds on to Mohan too, to ensure she does not leave them behind when they need her the most.

https://x.com/_mincemeat_/status/1803160073243599234

It is obvious Krishna can see both sides in this, and does not want to give up on either. But she does not have the support to balance these two fragile relationships she holds close to her and it is obvious at this point Mohan does take priority over Aryaman, because Arya is letting his disappointment and heartbreak on his father deserting the family take precedence on his opinion on the issue. Like she aptly said in a recent episode "Jo aap ko sahi lage woh zaroori nahi doosre ke liye bhi sahi ho, aur jo aapko galat lage, woh zaroori nahi dusre ke liye bhi galat ho." Will be worth watching how this journey is balanced, and how our dearest trio come together to navigate this together, like it was already divinely indicated through Dwarkadhish in the BG.

SidNi?

This was so out of syllabus, but seems like quite the future possibility. Though an obvious grey character, but Sid has time and again proved how observant he is about Mohan's preference, and while we have noticed Mohan seems to be impressed with his fake progressive stance, it is possible this might turn into a enemies-to-friends kinda thing from Sid's side too at some point, wherein he then reassesses his own biases and genuinely feels apologetic for the pain and manipulation he has subjected Mohan to.

Image

This was seriously a "Jahaan teri yeh nazar hai mere jaan mujhe khabar hai" moment. Everyone in the scene thought Mohan was looking at the girl, except for Sid. Whatever the reasons might be, he recognised the true motive. Even later, he was the one noticing Mohan's affliction to not dance like a girl, and encourage him to face that fear. Mohan dared to be themself only because Sid pushed them to do so on the stage, and even if it did not result in the best outcome, it was step one towards the acceptance of Mohan of their real desires.

https://x.com/mahxtales/status/1794379918874480985

Sid disrespecting Mohan and Krishna and just proving how large his prejudice is towards anything and anyone he cannot acquire. He went to Dwarka in hopes of their house, property toh mili nahi, instead they got exported from there into his household xD

https://x.com/mahxtales/status/1799501765127336274

The whole 'Dushman ka dushman dost' vibes here. He legit had someone keep an eye on who Mohan meets and what-not, like bhaisaab itna interest? Also, complimenting Anuradha Ma'am to get brownie points with Mohan. Like why is our Mohan still so naive re bubba after seeing how *bleh* the Thakkars are towards Krishna. But truly hope we do see Mohan uncovering this one's truth too at some point and turn the game around to defeat such double dholkis.

Image

This was quite the welcome surprise, but good to see it! Being the good samaritan and being genuinely concerned about Mohan, chalo even if he wants the siblings out of his house, he does not want it to result in them actually being hurt. Hope this friendship atleast turns real at some point.

Woho ur review got me thinking this show was never actually meant for tv oriented drama in terms of emotions. I remember how they entirely focused on Mohan's suffering in the first two weeks with a hint that Aryaman and Krishna will be together. For TRP may be they tried to bring wedding and divorce but that was very lowkey in terms of drama. Quite logical to many extent, I would have been rather surprised if let wedding continued without divorce or annulment after making a progressive show.

Characters never go ott in emotions, their banters, scenes are very much in real zone so is the speedy transition from one scene to another. The vamps are actually more of grey than evil, they arenot inhuman or beyond redemption. They should've probably gone for ott media for this show. There wouldn't have pressure of ending it fast or changing storyline.

Srijala Aunty

Idk, I kinda also like her, she is such a secret shipper even though she is grey, however her reasons are also kinda valid at times, Arya's mom and their family has kinda taken over that haveli for years. Also, she is actually a good mother with not wanting Ananya to be married to Aryaman for the wrong reasons (if he does not love her, which is obvious even to the randomest person)  Lage raho Chachi, we are with you :P

Great review!smiley32smiley32

Your review really transported me back to the unforgettable moments of the show. I appreciate how you thoroughly examined every aspect, including even 'Sidni', which was unexpected smiley39smiley39but added great insight.(I mean, He was the one who first truly identified Mohan's intentions from the first sight... How did I miss that??)

After watching the recent episodes of this show, I was struck by a sense of melancholy as I realized that it would be coming to an end in just a few weeks. This feeling was unusual for me because I typically don't get emotionally attached to TV shows. I usually move on to new series without any hesitation. However, this show managed to evoke a strong emotional response from me.

I believe my attachment to this show stems from the dedication of the talented individuals involved in its production, including the hardworking actors, directors, writers, and casting department. Despite this, I can't help but feel that the production house has not fully invested in this project. The absence of proper music for the show and the lack of effort in promoting it are clear indicators of this. It almost feels like they took a gamble on a taboo topic but lacked confidence in its success, resulting in reduced expenditures to minimize potential losses.

Anyway...

Despite the taboo nature of the topic and the lack of resources, the team has managed to reach this point. 50 episodes! Congratulations to the team!smiley32smiley32

Krishna and Mohan:

Ketki and Debattama both deliver captivating performances in their emotional scenes, portraying a genuine sibling bond from the very beginning. Their on-screen chemistry is truly exceptional and adds depth to their characters' relationship.

Ayraman-Krishna:

While the pacing of their story feels hurried, their on-screen chemistry is what really makes it a joy to watch.

Srijala and Sid:

I somewhat empathized with the only villain duo, and wholly enjoyed their scenes. It must have been uncomfortable for Shrijala when Rajashri took over the household. The two families sharing the same household was weird from day one for many people in this forum. They could have made the families neighbors, but having them in the same house was just too unconventional..

Srijala and Sid are not downright evil... till now.

And I support them.. at least till now.

The balance between the three was effectively shown back then, we could see all 3 were essential to the plot. Loved the subtlety of showing Arshna take on the protective parent sorta role for Mohan, even when they grew up without that exact role respectively (Aryaman does not have a present father, Krishna lost her mother)

For TRP may be they tried to bring wedding and divorce but that was very lowkey in terms of drama. Quite logical to many extent, I would have been rather surprised if let wedding continued without divorce or annulment after making a progressive show.

Yepp. Arshna knew they don't see each other that way, we were glad they did not onboard the tyaag express, which stops at every platform for drama.

Characters never go ott in emotions, their banters, scenes are very much in real zone so is the speedy transition from one scene to another.

Even the viewers enjoy the show in such a case, and good to know it was true for this one too.

The vamps are actually more of grey than evil, they are not inhuman or beyond redemption.

Reality intact here too! Right and wrong is always subjective even irl, except for some lost causes (Arya's mom to be precise, she is completely Cruella De Vil in my eyes)

They should've probably gone for ott media for this show. There wouldn't have pressure of ending it fast or changing storyline.

Would have been nice if they stuck to showcasing it on the online platform for Colours even if they wanted to stick to iTV and make it accessible to every household across class.

The initial month will always remain my favourite in terms of narrative, because there was so much explored even subtly, and showed the promise for Mohan's track and Arshna's growth to support them. They do say that a third person can sometimes give a more accurate account of a situation because they are looking at it from an unbiased lens, whatever the motif, Sid did notice Mohan's preference and Krishna's weakness for her brother, so -

I truly feel for you. Completely agree, the cast and crew have done a fantabulous job on the show. As for the apprehensions of the PH, cannot comment on that since I have not actually watched any of their other stuff. But yeah, we're in the rollercoaster ride at the moment, wherein idk for the past 2 weeks, even I cannot quite place where the show is headed with the characters and plot moving a little too tipsy turvy but wish for the best, and hope to celebrate atleast 75 episodes.

Nothing but love for their onscreen and offscreen bond smiley27

They have the right vibe 💯

Srijala and Sid:

Even if they could have shown the same house as teenagers to establish why Aryaman feels so strongly about them, yes, given he is a earning member, he could've had his own house for his family. Would've been less confusing to figure out kaun kiska bhai hai aur kaun kiski behen, still confused on the younger ones, but stopped bothering xo

Srijala and Sid are not downright evil... till now. And I support them.. at least till now.

Same for majority of the FC, I guess.
