Jonny Bairstow: Still got to assess the pitch even though it's a 10-over game. Wiese bowled well and we did well to get to 122. The ball did a bit early on. The pitch was under covers and sweated a bit, the guys will be looking to get plenty of revs on it when we bowl. From this end, Brooky got a cross-seamer which took a chunk off the pitch. We will look to bowl tidily and use our brains. [on the chat with Brook] Not that much with Brooky, you just let him bat. Good relation with him and we have known each other for long, the plan was to take our time and then backload with the guys like Mo and Livi to come.

Michael van Lingen and Davin are at the crease. Michael van Lingen is on strike. Topley will open the attack

Welcome back. Topley has the ball with a wide slip

Topley to Michael van Lingen, no ball, a front foot no-ball to start. Topley just stretches a bit too far, short of length and extra bounce outside off, Michael van Lingen pulls out of the cut at the last moment

Congratulations to England for their easy victory.

So all eyes move to St Lucia where Australia play Scotland. Bet that the whole England team will be glued in to that game.

England have done what they can. Now all eyes on Australia v Scotland later on. The rain nearly threatened to put England out of the tournament. After a long delay, the game was reduced to 11-overs a side. Again another spell of rain during the 1st innings reduced the game further to 10-overs a side. England batted really well to make 122 and the target was always going to test Namibia. The openers were slow in the powerplay and even though Davin was retired out and Wiese sent in, it eventually was too much for the African side. Wiese though sparkled with a cameo and van Lingen too struck a few blows but England closed it out professionally. Credit must be given to the groundstaff for making sure that the game happened after all the rain that hit the venue earlier on. England end on 5 points and with a better NRR than Scotland. They now need Australia to defeat Scotland which will take England to the Super Eights.
