Has anyone read A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. I want to give it a try but I am kinda nervous about it

There are so many trigger warnings about it.. Plus saw so many ppl having breakdowns after finishing it.. isliye hard-pass for me..
But yeah, if the book has moved so many readers, must have been written quite well..
Exactly why I am sceptical. I will give it a try but not now probably. Will first prepare my mind

You guys have any angsty recs for me, please? Preferably romance as the genre, but even a romantic subplot is fine. The angst can be for any reason. Heavy trauma, silly misunderstandings kuch bhi chalega mereko... as long as they're really feeling the pain, yknow? (I'm not a sadist I swear π)
Only condition is that it should all be properly resolved by the end. I want a proper happy ending (or at least a satisfying ending). I have pretty much lost the capacity to handle sad endings I think π
Also, not too much smut if possible? I don't mind 1-2 scenes but I'm not in the mood for anything for than that atm.
Please please please kuch recs de do π₯Ίπ₯Ί
