it was forum joke. In show abhay never changed clothes after a certain point then unke ghar pr kabhi lights nai jalti thi only candles. Then abhay ka entry happens in mercedes but then baad me vo koi aur sasti car me aa jate hr so we just joked k they got so gareeb and couldnt afford clothes or to pay for electricity bills or the fancy cars
