Alice Capsey: Loved being back, amazing competition to be a part of. Delighted to contribute. The last time I played a game was in December, so, feeling fresh and I just wanted to go out there and execute. (Her game-plan) Just to go out there and put pressure on the bowler. The partnership between me and Meg was crucial. She was really good in keeping me calm. (Plans against specific bowlers) Before the game, you sit down and see what their strengths and variations are. But I like to keep it clear: see ball, hit ball.

Phew, that was some innings. MI dominated the first three overs, keeping the Capitals down to just six runs and picking up the wicket of Shafali. Capsey, though, found her range as soon as she walked out. Lanning, too, joined in on the act and the pair increased the scoring rate post the powerplay.
