Episode begins with heart broken Shruti walking away in tears , she trips n is about to fall but Anuj, who was following her close by, grabs her n stops her fall. They both sit at a restaurant n discuss their relationship post Anupama’s arrival and Anuj’s love confession to her. Shruti is heart broken n states the same , she asks if she was so bad that she failed to win his heart in the last 5 yrs . He is unable to get over Anupamaa whom he still loved very much. Anuj feels totally guilty and is apologetic for putting Shruti through this heart break .
Anupama is seen at Kinjal’s house where she is pouring out her heart ache n guilt and all her woes and Kinjal lends her a patient ear . She calms and consoles repentant Anupama . Anupama regrets her idea of closure and causing a rift between ShruAnuj , spoiling the happy family of ShruAdya Anuj . She regrets and apologises n curses herself . Yashdeep arrives there and he too lends a patient ear, he encourages Anupama to move on n make new beginnings, he gives her time to recollect herself . Anupama thinks him for being pro understanding n generous ,n she assures she will not bother any body now. She assures she will get back to work n not waste anyone’s time now .
ShruAnuj recollect themselves n decide to go home , they feel it’s best they reveal nothing to Aadya as she might get panic attack and upset .
As Anuj n Shruti return home , Aadya showers them with concern n questions . They evade all questions of Aadya and pretend all was OK between them. Aadya is skeptical n suspicious . Later she directly probes Shruti , but nothing is revealed to inquisitive Aadya .
