To each his own. There was a time I used to worship Anurag, so obviously this means a lot to me smiley41

It's better to worship the art and not the artist that created it....

He showered even bigger praises on 12th fail. Hope he learns from them like he claims to have

"There is no love without hitting each other" - what's there to misunderstand here? Blatant misogyny and toxic masculinity in every film of his.

Now I am beginning to think Anurag Kashyap was the misunderstood one - he isn't as good as I thought he was.

Arjun Reddy was slightly problematic (morally speaking) but an amazing cinematic piece of art. Kabir Singh was slightly less problematic.

I don't see any problems with Animal*.

Anurak Kashyap is one of the greatest gifts to Bollywood. Your opinion can never change the impact that he has brought to Indian cinema.

Vanga is here to stay, he is just getting started lol 🔥

ETA:

* the only slightly problematic statement I felt was the dialogue 'It's a man's world out there'. But again, the protagonist is a psychopath - an Animal. So I wouldn't lynch or cancel the director for this one statement.
