Now I am beginning to think Anurag Kashyap was the misunderstood one - he isn't as good as I thought he was.
Arjun Reddy was slightly problematic (morally speaking) but an amazing cinematic piece of art. Kabir Singh was slightly less problematic.
I don't see any problems with Animal*.
Anurak Kashyap is one of the greatest gifts to Bollywood. Your opinion can never change the impact that he has brought to Indian cinema.

ETA:
* the only slightly problematic statement I felt was the dialogue 'It's a man's world out there'. But again, the protagonist is a psychopath - an Animal. So I wouldn't lynch or cancel the director for this one statement.
