Palash, instead of trapping DevRa in the freezer, takes them to a jungle and keeps them in a cottage there. Both DevRa are unconscious, and Palash leaves his friends to monitor them.

Tara slowly regains consciousness, finding Deva tied to a wooden chair.

Tara: "Mr. Malik, wake up, Mr. Malik."

Deva, hearing the voice, gradually opens his eyes, realizing both are tied and captive.

Deva: "Tara Ma'am, where are we?"

Tara: "Mr. Malik, it seems they've imprisoned us."

Deva surveys the unfamiliar place.

Deva: "Where are we?"

Tara: "How would I know? You're asking me as if I'm some Google Map that reveals your location with a button press. Forget it; I'm also captive."

Deva: "Alright, fine. Instead of giving this speech, it would've been better if you would have said you didn't know."

Tara makes faces.

Deva: "Sitting here angry won't get us out. We need to find Badshah. Think of a way."

Tara realizes the severity of the situation. All doors are locked, and only windows with grills are present, impossible to open.

Deva notices his weakly-tied wooden chair. He tries to break it, eventually succeeding. He frees himself and then helps Tara.

They're relieved to finally be free.

Tara: "How do we leave from here?"

Deva observes drunken guards outside the window.

Deva: "They're all intoxicated."

Tara: "Wait, Mr. Malik, I'll do something."

Tara goes to the back door, opens a window, and mimics a distressed lady's voice, diverting the guards' attention.

Tara and Deva escape from the front door.

Tara: "There's no vehicle here. How will we go back? Your leg is injured, bleeding."

She uses her dupatta to tie her wound.

Deva reassures her he's fine, making a bitter face.

Tara mutters to herself about his bitter demeanor despite caring for him. She decides not to anymore.

Deva: "Did you say something?"

Tara: "Nothing, Mr. Malik. I wished congratulations on your wounds. If you need to amputate your leg tomorrow, I have a doctor friend who'll do it for free."

Deva: "Leg?"

Tara: "The way you're limping with that injured leg, it seems it'll get infected and have to be amputated. Don't worry; on your next birthday, I'll gift you a wheelchair, and you can boss me around from it."

Deva gets scared, realizing his orders on a wheelchair won't have an effect on her. How will he seek revenge?

Deva: "Okay, tie it up. No need to scare me with all this talk."

He sits under a tree, and Tara, seeing a river, uses her dupatta to tend to his wound.

DevRa: "Done."

Deva smiles, remembering Tara's care for "Chota Deva."

Tara: "Shall we go back now?"

Deva gets up, noticing Tara's discomfort due to the cold and her missing dupatta.

Tara : No mr malik i am fine.

Deva: Okay fine. When all mosquitoes bite you and you get admitted to hospital because of dengue let me know. I will gift a mosquito net.

Tara laughs .

Tara: okay fine. I will take it.

Tara: "You won't stop pulling my leg, will you?"

Deva: "Never. Just like you won't stop pulling mine."

They laugh, sharing a moment.

Deva: "Shall we go? It's late; those people are drunk now but might wake up later."

They walk through the jungle, feeling like they're going in circles.

Tara: "Mr. Malik, it feels like we're going around in circles."

Deva: "I feel the same."

Tara: "What do we do now?"

Deva marks trees with a stone, each time taking a different direction. Finally, they reach a river behind the mansion where they saw fireflies before.

DevRa: "This is the lake behind the mansion."

They're relieved to recognize the place.

Tara: "Now how do we get to the other side? The boat is on that side."

Deva: "Only Kaka can help us now. He comes every morning to clean the lake. He'll come tomorrow."

Tara: "So, we'll have to stay here tonight."

Deva nods.

Deva sleeps under a tree, while Tara decides to sleep opposite him.

Tara, scared of the dark, recalls Deva's words: "Whenever afraid, look fear in the eye; fear will flee."

Deva hears her and walks over, sensing her fear. He sleeps beside her.

Tara: "Why did you come here? I'm not scared of the dark."

Deva: "But I am, so I thought I'd seek refuge with you."

Tara smiles, seeing the caring side of Mr. Malik.

She closes her eyes, almost falling asleep.

Deva: "Tara ma'am, you said you have no friends then who is that doctor friend?"

Tara: "He's not a special friend. He gave us his house, so we had to be friends. I have only one special friend."

Deva: and who is that?

Deva after noticing pin drop silence looks at tara.

Deva sees Tara asleep while talking. He's happy that he's still her special friend, recalling their childhood moments, and peacefully sleeps next to her.

The next morning, Tara wakes early, calling Kaka for help. He arrives with a boat and ferries them across the lake.

On the boat, Deva asks Kaka about Badshah.

Kaka: "He came back, ran away yesterday. I was worried about both of you."

DevRa sigh with relief. Deva looks at Tara.

Deva: "By the way, you didn't answer my question yesterday."

Tara: "Which question?"

Deva sees Ananya and Tara's family on the other side.

Deva: "Nothing, I'll ask another day."

Tara hugs Ananya, and Deva embraces Badshah. DevRa exchange grateful glances.
