Anything around 1.5 is a decent good trp for a new show. New show as in, new leads after generation leap. After 3 months, if it's not above 2 , then the show would be in trouble but as of now, it's doing decently well considering how there are no known popular names in the starcast and also the storyline is similar to ghum.

But there is expectations in prime slot starting itself ..they nowadays don't give time for three months
The viewership might have risen back to around 1.6-1.7 with some of the audience who left returning. Considering its long-running show, Ye Rishta seems secure for at least the initial 3 to 4 months following the leap. SP won't abruptly end a show with such a legacy.

Birlas will be erased in gen4, Birlas are toxic so erased them for positivity in gen4 bla bla blu blue yet here we are a a full flashback showing Dr. Abhimanyu Birla with his son Abhira Birla.
They could have had Akshara remembering Abhir alone- there are many other scenes to choose from- didn’t need to include Abhi.
But now next week’s TRP blame is ready- Abhi’s flashback was shown so TRP people said naaahi and shut their tv 🤣
