Feroze doesn't have the softness in his acting, he is toooooo extreme in volatile moments. Wahaj because of his softer image is able to lend that gentleness to Murtasim's character. That is why even after Murtasim slapped Meerab we can sort of ignore it and move on. Wahaj saved Murtasim's humanity, there are two different versions of him. Pre marriage he was a different man, post marriage he is someone else. If Feroze had slapped Yumna yeah Murtasim is a dead character.

We didn't give Murtasim a second we only gave Wahaj a second chance.

Also if Feroze got selected Yumna wouldn't be Meerab, she is not letting that asshole slap her.

So Yeah TB wouldn't exist today

I think part of it is shot selection. It is like let us choose shots that have zero MeMu signature elements.

If you look at today's shots, shots where they are both in the frame are either:

1. He looks at her, she is looking elsewhere (and vice versa).
2. He looks at her, we cant see her expressions (and viceversa).
   
3. They look at each other - it's a side angle or a wideshot - so we can't see their expressions clearly.
4. In only one shot, we can clearly see them looking at each other and their expressions. His look is one-note intense but lacking any inner feeling/emotion. His movements are also very basic and by the number - touch her hand, use finger to turn her face, stare. Contrast with this valima pic from TB where the micro-movements and micro-expressions adds a lot of texture to the shot (the fiddling with her sleeve, the slow slide up her forearm, what he does with the eyes). Or this other deleted scene from the MariaB ad (where his hand movements as he turns her face and pulls it away adds so much sensuality).

Given their shot selection, I think they don't want this photoshoot to look TB sensual and are being staid with the acting, looks, camera shots, etc. Or maybe they are keeping the best for the still shots.
