What’s going on and how can they let that go? You have 2 big stars on the show and they definitely seem to be spending money on locations, houses and cars. I just can’t fathom how they could watch the episode and think the quality, specifically the audio is okay. I’m not a technical person but is it something that they can fix? Why is it doing that? I haven’t noticed that on any other show except MPHT…and honestly episode 2 of Mein is the worst. I really hope they address and fix this issue.

I agree with you. The show don't look as grand as I thought it would be.

I can even take it not looking as grand. I think Siraj is more of a dramatic, larger than life type of director and Tere Bin was also this type of drama. I’m okay with a more realistic looking, subtle tone but it’s the technical issues that are driving me insane. I also would prefer better close ups to show the actors faces and expressions. Again I don’t expect the extra slowed down dramatic sequences of TB (as much as I loved them). Those suited that type of drama and it wouldn’t suit every kind. Honestly I think if the audio issues were resolved, I’d be happy. That just isn’t acceptable to me especially for seems to be like a major show on a major channel. I hope they take everyone’s feedback seriously although do they really need people to tell them something that is so glaringly obvious?

Am I the only one who didn't find any problem with anything except Zaid and his girlfriend's acting!! 😆

It was turning point episode, triggered Mubashira, it had to be messy episode.

I liked the episode. I only had a problem with the technical issues. I do find Ayra bland though. I haven’t watched her in anything else so I don’t know what she is capable of. She doesn’t seem like a bad actress but just really bland. I thought we didn’t need to see her searching for her brother for as long as we did especially before Zaid showed up. I was okay with their scenes together, but they had the worst audio issues in the episode. I liked that Zaid seemed much softer around her as opposed to how he addressed the influencers for example. He seems to have sensitive side to him towards those he cares about. He is patient and understanding with Ayra but he doesn’t have the same approach towards MJ. He took her out of the party into the house but it felt more like an obligation to do the right thing according to his dad. Once she pushed the glass in his hand, he left and seemed done with her. He doesn’t like getting involved with their family (is there more to that or maybe he just doesn’t understand why his father gives them so much importance). He is very different with Ayra though so I appreciated the contrast in how he treats both women.

We don’t know much about Zaid for now except that he is in a committed relationship with his girlfriend that his family is unaware of - we don’t know when and how they met. We also know that he always, even if reluctantly obeys his father. In contrast we know a lot more about Mubashira…she was in a relationship with MZ for 4 years in total, was married to him for 2, she is rude and condescending, she has anger issues, exhibits narcissistic behaviour, and her father is actually convinced that she can kill someone. Her story is much more developed at the moment and it’s interesting to me so far. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Zaid’s true self.

I don't think big bang is as big as six Sigma. Six Sigma shows are way more grand than big band. Even their daily soap promos look very grand. None of the big band projects I have seen looked grand whether it's balaa, cheekh or dunk. The marriage scenes look very average even for rich families. The families in cheekh and dunk looked richer than the family in mere Humsafar but the wedding reception in MH was way more grand than dunk and cheekh. Even the last wedding song of kuch ankahi was very aesthetically pleasing with all characters in good clothes. I think one of the main problem with big bang is their colour coding. Everything looks dull. That worked for dramas like balaa, cheekh and dunk as they all were dark depressing type of dramas.

They need to work on the lighting and post production of their dramas.

So is this a big bang problem regardless of the director? It just seems like even super low budget projects don’t have these type of sound issues. I’m okay without it looking grand, to be honest I think everyone who is supposed to is coming across as rich. I honestly don’t see a problem with that, it’s just the technical issues that I find strange.

two episodes down and I don’t feel connected to anyone in the show. Hassan put it so beautifully that all the actors in the show are so good, they have proven their skills time and again including the supporting cast so the reason WHY they are not connecting has nothing to do with them,it’s the direction which has been taken very lightly with no thoughts in it . I will give you a simple example ….Ayeza’s room is the same as Meerasim but look at the contrast…Meerasim room looked classy nd vibrant with yellow curtains , lovely paintings , lovely lamps, the paint on the walls appeared like new and carpet added so much character and elegance to the room whereas Ayeza’s room looks so dull , I don’t know how but it appears old and worn out ,off white paint on the walls which actually seems hasn’t been painted in years , just one lone painting on the wall, old lamps, ugly bedding, the entire look is depressing ….from no angle does it look like a rich lady’s room….this might be a small thing but it just shows how little thought or none at all has gone in it ….production quality and direction is bad and the result is in front of us 🥲

. It was a horribly tight dress, from top to bottom it was bad and I remember mentioning it in one of my comments .

I think Zaid is calm person around his girlfriend because he can satisfy his ego around her. He made her leave interview, he pays bill in hospital, he asks his girlfriend to manage larkey walo and she does because she does not have a backbone. Who takes boyfriend's money for brothers treatment🥱 In short, she obeys. That's why he is content around her.

But Mubashira satisfies her ego around everyone, so clash happens there and Zaid walked out in the first scene.

I don't think Zaid and his father is innocent as much as they tries to look innocent. I still believe they are behind this divorce and Zaid has interest in Mubashiras life but trying to stay irrelivent.

I think casts have accent problem, everyone trying to be a rich artificial, problem lies there. I have seen Ayeza before in rich brat character, she was natural. Here she is trying to ultra artificial rich, and we are unable to adjust with it.

I have seen some ultra artificial aunties and their kids behavior, they are not idhar ka, not even udhar ka type.

There may have some technical issue, or they wanted it in that way. After all big bang is good production house, why would they ruin their big project!!

This is an interesting theory regarding Zaid’s relationship with Ayra. In a way, even Mubashira was with someone belonging to the middle class. Zaid asserts his power in a more subtle way but Mubashira just tortures the soul she’s with. I do however find Zaid and Ayra’s relationship confusing. I know he told her to handle things with the proposal but she hasn’t told her brother about him and made things official. On the other hand, Zaid hasn’t told his family about Ayra either. Why not? Does he know his father won’t accept her? If so, why make so many promises to her? I saw someone’s comment somewhere (can’t remember where) analyzing their relationship and noticed 2 things: Zaid said I love you to Ayra but she didn’t respond back and Ayra said she doesn’t have anyone in her life except her brother meanwhile Zaid said she was very important in his life. Maybe he is just making empty promises or maybe Ayra isn’t really in love with Zaid. I do feel like Ayra takes things (bracelet, money for the hospital bill) very easily from Zaid without much gratitude. Now that her family friend met Zaid at the hospital and Zaid paid for the bill, I’m guessing her brother will know about him.

I actually also thought Zaid’s dad had something to do with the divorce somehow. He just seemed oddly calm about it. Zaid seemed indifferent so I didn’t connect him to it. He does seem to want to avoid their family or maybe he just doesn’t give them much importance. I’m wondering too if him and Mubashira had some sort of a past.
