Nah, they only have a 1 or 2 inches of height difference. Yumna is tall for an average female height. Its Wahaj who isn't that tall. Haven't you noticed Yumna in her scenes with Haya aka Sabeena?

I guess he is standing on a step as in show they looks equal in height with very minimal diff maybe 🤷‍♀️

I wonder if it is about women directors too. They know what fabrics look good under that harsh lighting, male directors don’t have that sense. That said, Humayun Saeed production house also dresses their women very well. Wonder if they have a team of women who deal with it.

Could be! Humayun Saaed's production is partly led by his wife, so that makes sense.

But then this one, Meerab's wardrobe was conceptualised by a woman too. Some head of production, Yumna said in some interview posted here. Some Marie Khan designed Meerab's looks and everything. But the director here just knows how to capture Wahaj from the best angles 😆

To add to that, the assistant director Muskaan was the producer’s daughter and she and her mom looked pretty style conscious. So, again, expected better for such a grand and expensive set. VERY confused about it all. ( omgggg…the mehendi scene, I was like why does everyone look better styled than Meerab?)

However, that Farq ML guy did advise Wahaj, in an IV , that the actors should use their own stylists and clothes because the production house doesn’t spend much on that stuff. And he worked with 7th Sky.

But again, kudos to Yumna for managing to rise above these things and still create insane magic on this screen! She did look gorgeous in her plain black outfit and plain-ish hair look in that hand touching scene.

Exactly! Expected them to atleast work/spend on their female lead. Sara kharcha sirf 5-6 set rent pe lene mein laga diya lagta hai!

Yumna has used 2-3 pieces from her wardrobe I guess, like that cream duptta in the dargah scene and the light pink outfit in the 'interesting' scene. But then, I feel Yumna's personal wardrobe is mostly western wear, so it was all on the production to arrange a wardrobe for her, which they didn't bother about a lot.

She looked so porcelain in that solid black kurta, especially in that hand-hold scene and the night-lighting. Gorgeous. We get why Murtasim is a goner for her in the reel sense. 😆
