I agree with you ki original owner have the right to claim copyright. My only issue is I don't feel zee are the original owner in this case.

Since the time of promos, social media kept putting up memes with the comparison of these 2 songs. I think zee just took that way too seriously.

Like example, if you see the Rabia interview of the director. She compared tere bin to iss pyaar ko. That was solely because of the social media noise. I have seen that show and while the tashan and takkar theme is same, nowhere did I find the stories or situations same.

I just feel that zee music is doing all this case and everything because of the social media comments and not actually for any copyright claim.

The first time I heard this song it reminded me of Tera intekam dekhegi even before I saw the memes. To me the the beats of those particular lines are very very similar.

Zee does own the copyright to Mera Intekam dekhegi song.

But Reshu that how in today's world one gets to know about copyright songs through YT reviews and memes.

For Eg, Farhan posted on twitter than Sallim Merchant copied his sng Royiyaan after fans pointed out the similarity. Even that song is almost copied by Merchant. Don't know why Farhan Saeed didn't do anything or maybe they settled behind close doors but he did called out Merchant on Twitter.

@bold: I am sorry but this is a highly false statement. Bollywood or indian cinema has tons and tons of original content. Yes there are also an equal number of remakes, but it would be wrong to say that 90 percent is all copied.

In most cases, we do not hear of any legal cases with Indian production houses because they are settled out of court.

This zee vs Geo thing has not appeared suddenly. The ost had been removed form spotify almost 5-6 weeks back. I am assuming the case has also been going for that long. Geo messed up here. They should have just muted the ost long back when this issue started.

No one here hates anyone. Or is jealous of anyone. This is a legal action taken that has been done with due process.

@bold: that's also true. Social media does help in finding such copied numbers.

I feel Geo messed up here. The ost thing has been going on for more than a month now. They should have muted the audio in all the episodes time rehte hi. I don't know why they ignored this matter 😢😢

I personally do not find the music similar. So i genuinely do not understand this case. But haa saying that zee is jealous is absurd reasoning 😆
