Basically, if we cannot feel for all characters, it is a badly written show. At the same time, if we are unable to look at things objectively, we are letting our personal bias influence what we feel about how the characters behave or should behave.

it is very obvious that the show is written in a way that allows certain liberties to the ML but the FL has lesser liberties. We may say that’s how society is, but it is also possible that we think such imbalance is needed or we choose to think that there are other ways to make up for this imbalance

Meerab is stupid

Murtasim is hot headed

Meerab is a brat

Murtasim is controlling

Meerab is selfish

Murtasim is conservative

Meerab is naive

Murtasim is tenacious

Somehow we hold the woman responsible for her actions whereas the man is beholden to his circumstances. And that notion is manipulated by regressive storytellers.

As a viewer of this show, I don’t “feel” for any of them. The actors are good looking and the push pull romance is fun to watch. If I was to break down every action logically, I honestly would stop watching the show. Whether we want to accept it or not, this show is regressive. It’s not about what happened to Meerab, or how Murtasim can or should do, it’s how the show is written. It’s quite standpat, plain and simple.

It's the classic example of men can reaction but women can only over react.

Meerab is immature and spoiled and childish and she wanted to marry murtasim to annoy the hell out of his life. Also she had no other choice since pak dramas have repeatedly made it clear that females cannot stay at a hostel and build their own life and it's more than important to have a father or a husband in their lives. So obviously meerab had no other choice but to marry murtasim and stay at the haveli. She is scrutinized for than. But murtasim had all the choice. He was equally against the wedding and he never showed any romantic interest in her. What was his reason to agree to marry her?

If meerab can be blamed for getting kidnapped and called stupid then murtasim is a bigger idiot for agreeing to marry meerab and he deserves her bratty tantrums for that. If she had the option to stay in the car then he had the option to say no to the marriage and welcoming a spoiled brat into his life. If meerab can be stupid enough to take the bullets out of the gun murtasim is stupid enough to hire useless bodyguards. Why does he even have bodyguards? They failed to protect meerab and they were no where to be seen when that mallik boy shot murtasim. are they ever gonna be useful? Does murtasim use them as show pieces or did he pick the cheapest ones in the market. 😆

Meerab thinks she can take revenge by being a spoiled brat and murtasim thinks he can tame her by being her daddy🤣. We all know meerab is gonna win first but since this is a pak drama the ML is gonna be the baazigar. Harke jeetega maa begum ka sher puttar🤣. He might loose his sanity for a little while but will ultimately end up with a tamed meek ideal pak drama female lead🤣

Also those bodyguards are there even when they roam around in the city. They were there when murtu and Anwar went to see meerab in the city in ep 1. They are always there.

Isn't it more than clear from the first 2 episodes that meerab don't give a flying ass about what goes at the murtu household. She is always forcefully taken to that house and she spends some time and comes back. Going by how that household is they definitely ain't gonna talk about business and rivalry in front of the girls. Even haya and maryam won't be aware what happens in the village.

Yes.. waisay bhi Murtasim Khan ko jab ghussa aata hai tou woh thappar jar daitay hain woh bhi us waqt jab un kai khandaan main kabhi kisi aurat pai haath nahin uthaya gaya .. yaani barson purani riwayat tor daitay hain Murtasim khan ghussay main tou golian sholian tou un kai haan waisay hi chalti rehti hain.. ghussay main banda shanda tapkana tou un kai liye koi baat hi nahin hogi.
