Very true.

I know alot of people wanted Salman Ash together, but if it did happened that beauty of Ajay Ash profound newfound romance would have lost, and the heartache people felt for Salman would have not been there which was the painful-sheen of the movie.

Hddcs would have been just another routine Bollywood movie.

Psycho is now bulk voting for Taal, knowing that I dislike Ash (only due to her over acting, nothing as a person or for another reason though).

🤪

(Also to sabotage voting for Salman movies, just like he did in other years polls as well with his mids which attacks any poll in a limited time just for one option filling one option with 25-60 fake votes depending on the number of other votes in that particular time...lol😁)

Kaisay kaisay ajeeb creatures paida kar kay choar diye hain upar walay nay dharti pay..🤣

Damn, such great movies.

My top-10 would be: HDDCS, Kaun, Sarfarosh, Haseena, Vaastav, Mast, Taal, Shool, Baadshah and Mann.

Kachche Dhaage, Daag, Hindustan Ki Kasam, Hum Tumpe and Hu Tu Tu were fab as well. I really like Sirf Tum too.

Kingkhan, are you planning to do one for the 00s also?

Mann was a film I did not like initially but grew to like its second half. When Aamir discovers Manisha has lost her leg, it is heartbreaking.

It was such a beautiful movie. I know it's a loose remake of An Affair to Remember but it just showed how you can adapt a movie and still treat it like an original.

It's so heart-warming and heart-breaking at the same time. I can't believe it flopped back then.

Bollywood used to be so good in bringing out emotions in movies. Over the last 10 years or so, it's a form they've lost big time.

Music was ❤️

This was a decent enough year . Plenty of memorable stuff relative to immediately previous years .

From the list , HMJ . Otherwise for '99 too , it is HMJ again . Badshah would be close second . Also a shout out to Hello Brother , Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan , Anari no. 1 , Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet , Sirf Tum , Kartoos , Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin , Sarfarosh from the same, nostalgic glasses . Else Shool , Godmother , Kaun too .

Mann was among the top 10 grosswra of the Year 1999, it got flopped or did an average business mainly due to the higher costs involved.

Ps: I was not planning to but if u want I can start polls for 2000's decade movies as well for each year.
