But dont you think Atominis Ji that besides its storyline, Lamhe was a well made movie ?

Nothing well made about it. It was slow. Sridevi hammed in the daughter part to appear childlike. Anupam was hamming like no tomorrow in happy scenes.

The film is slow. Boring.

Choppy narrative.

It deserved to flop.

Cheeni Kum is also cheap but atleast Amitabh is not someone who knows Tabu since childhood, nor is he he benefactor. Neither he likes Tabu because she looks like her mom who he was in love with.

Lamhe is cheap. Man falls in love with mom. Also lusts after daughter as she looks like her mom. Yuck.

I will recommend go for Dil hai ke manta nahi, Sadak, Lamhe and 100 days

and Saajan mainly for songs

You raised some good points Atominis Ji, valid ones as well.

I never thought about Lamhe from this angel.

Yeah it felt kinda sluggish and choppy-isht at times, but overall I liked the movie.

Atleast was kind of different from 90's COMMERCIAL movies' standards.
