The emotions he was going through, they were full of passionate & tender, and his kiss expressed all the emotions he was struggling to vocalize. His coming on the stairs to see the aftermath of his touch, his closeness on her was worth watching for him. It was the similar action what he did during teri meri. Yes Arnav is in a situation where he is not able to name the feelings for Khushi and at the same time he is feeling jealous of NK. He wanted to put his mind to work but in that processes he challenged her and kissed her it was the first kiss for Khushi, In a girls life the first kiss holds a lot of importance.
He kisses her without thinking, planning... it was just going by the flow moment, It was the urge to have her kiss him, oh that was a wish, desire,
After that, he was a man in control -in control of the sweet assault on her senses. He knew exactly what he was doing and what he wanted. He drew a plan of seduction, laid out, executed and machinated her into the exact corner where he wanted her, and she pretty much followed along as there was no other way around to run.
After crossing the barriers of fear or hesitation, nothing was there to stop him, do you think as a man he will stop. No way.

He manages to wipe that smile off her face, but just to make sure that she won't laugh again, he taunts her with his yesterday's kiss, and reminds her the GREAT challenge. But seeing him seething with jealousy over NK's presence, she chooses to flirt with NK just to spite him. But he sits there and can't still help getting lost in the vision of her smiling and showing off her bangle-adorned hands. If only those bangles were given by him! But jealousy always works in such cases.
NK brought the real lover in him, a possessive one who wanted his girl to just like him. Now she was challenging him too with many questions like you need to know how to keep a girl and make her happy as well.
