People will not buy tickets to see me - Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam in her Instagram Live Interview 

"I prefer my movies releasing on OTT because i am not delusional & i know that my name is not big enough to get people to buy tickets. I am not a crowd puller. I know people will not go & buy a movie ticket bacause i am in it..."

She is saying facts but its kinda sad

Well atleast she's self aware 😆

Although I would watch her movies in theater just for the fact alone that she has good script sense and her movies are generally entertaining. So, buying tickets not only for her per se but for the fact that I have enjoyed most movies she's starred in. 

Aisa sirf iske sath nahi bahot actors actresses ke sath hai. Apni apni pasand ki baat hoti hai. Also a person can go for various reasons to watch a movie. And at the end, apne aapko aisa banao na ki log sirf tumhare naam se movie dekhne jana chahe  Anyway I think she is a decent actress but pretty boring onscreen. 

When i read the title i thought she's complaining. 

But after reading that doesn't seem to be the case. Like someone else said, she's self aware and knows where she stands. Not everyone can be a crowd puller and its OK if you're not one. 

Didn’t watch her movies in theatres but loved Vicky donor and another movie she did with ayushmann 

Yea because they are seeing you in fair and lovely ads for years

Though it is good to be self aware, she sounds like she doesn't have many expectations from her movie career. Agar isi ko koi ummeed nahi hai ki log paise kharch karenge, toh phir humein bhi koi ummed nahi hai. 

I went to watch Bala for her.
