Mumbai

Rawte’s Paradise

          Arjun is standing in balcony of his room and looking at the city thinking about whatever his family said to him. Luck goes near him and barked to gain his attention. Small smile comes on Arjun’s lips seeing Luck. He pick him and sit on the chair and starts caressing Luck’s back.

ARJUN: Did you have your dinner?

          Luck barked in reply.

ARJUN: Good…

          Luck settled himself in Arjun’s lap and sit quietly and enjoyed Arjun’s soft caressing.

ARJUN: You know Luck, aaj dinner ke waqut kya hua? Bhaiya told me about the proposal… they are thinking about my marriage… I mean Luck tumhe nahi lagta yeh kuch zyada hi jaldi ho raha hai? Kya me abhi itni badi zimeedari nibhane ke liye taiyar hoon? Me toh yeh bhi nahi jaanta ki me shaadi jaise rishtey ko nibhane ke laayak hoon bhi yaa nahi…

          Luck is sitting silently as if hearing his talks with lot of attention.

ARJUN: I don’t know what to say… mujhe toh kuch samjh nahi aa raha hai…

          Arjun lost in thoughts. As he stay silent for a long time, Luck looked up and bark softly licking near his chin as if consoling him. Arjun smile and hug him. Same time he heard the knock on door.

ARJUN: Come in

          He said and enter in the room. Servant come inside the room.

SERVANT: Surya sir ne aap ko bulaya hai… vo uppar office me hai…

ARJUN: Ok

          Servant left from there. Arjun took a deep sigh and headed towards the office.

Champawat

          Sakshi is walking on road mindlessly. She reached at one house and knocked on the door. After a second, one beautiful young girl open the door and seeing Sakshi she smiles.

JYOTI: Aree Sakshi Didi aap…

          Seeing bowl in her hand,

JYOTI: aur bowl mein kya hai? kuch leke aaye ho Aap?

          Sakshi said nothing.

JYOTI: Di aap andar aauo naa

          Sakshi took a step and stand at entrance. Pawan come out from one room asking his sister - Jyoti that who is at door. From his hand one can say they are having their dinner. Seeing Sakshi Pawan come near door.

PAWAN: Partner tum iss waqut yaha??

          He looked at bowl and took it from her hand.

PAWAN (With smile): Kheer!!!! Aunty ne kheer banayi hai aaj? Kuch khass hai kya?

          He inhale the aroma of tasty kheer which makes him feel more curious to eat it. Sakshi is still saying nothing and gazing at floor thinking about the things.

PAWAN: Aunty ko thanks kehna… waise tumne dinner kiya? Agar nahi toh chalo aa jaauo… Hum dinner hi kar rahe hai

JYOTI: Haan Bhai theek keh raha hai… hum bas abhi abhi bethe hai… Aap bhi hume join karo… maza aayega

          Sakshi is still not reacting. Now pawan noticed her state and immediately get something is wrong. He handed the kheer to Jyoti.

PAWAN: Tu jaake dinner continue kar me abhi aata hoon

          Jyoti nods and left from there leaving them alone. Pawan looked at Sakshi and took step towards her.

PAWAN: Partner kya baat hai? Kya hua hai?

          Sakshi said nothing.

PAWAN: Aree tumse hi baat kar raha hoon… bol na kuch hua hai kya? Kya problem hai? itni khoyi khoyi aur pareshan kyun hai? Uncle Aunty ne kuch kaha? Vo dono theek toh hai?

          Seeing no reaction from her pawan nods in negative. He went inside and washed his hand.

PAWAN’S MOM: Kya hua? Kaha jaa raha hai khana bich mein chhod ke?

PAWAN: Aap sab kha lijiye…ek zaroori kaam aa gaya hai toh me aur Sakshi bahar jaa rahe hai

PAWAN’S MOM: Khana toh khake jaauo dono

PAWAN: Baad mein kuch kha lenge Maa… abhi chalta hoon…

          Saying this he comes in living room and goes near Sakshi. He hold her hand and then closed the door behind. He start his bike and looked at Sakshi. Sakshi silently sit behind him. Pawan start his bike and zoomed out on road. Soon they reached at one hill. Pawan park the bike at one corner and then looked at Sakshi who is still lost. Pawan hold her hand again and starts climbing hill. Soon they reached at top. There is one stone bench which is bit broken but safe enough to sit. Pawan makes Sakshi sit on bench. He went to opposite side. One small and simple tree cabin is there. He went up into cabin and turn on the lights. Fairly lights makes the whole place glowing. Pawan goes near Sakshi and then sit beside her. He looked ahead and got a perfect and mind blowing view of city.

          Pawan said nothing and wait for Sakshi to open up herself. He know her very well so he count three in the mind and smile widely as Sakshi hold his right hand and rested her head on his right shoulder. Now he is sure that matter is serious and it’s troubling her very much. He also understand that Sakshi need some more time to break her thoughts and share the thing so he looked at city again. Sakshi too looked at view and both keep looking at lights and hustle bustle of their beautiful home town.

Mumbai

Rawte’s Paradise

          Arjun reached upstairs. One can say this floor is a complete office floor. Rooftop has a helipad and one special parking area for super luxurious cars. With that there is one large room which has a sitting arrangements for meetings or other business occasions. With that there’s one office cabin. 

Arjun starts walking towards that cabin and knocked the door. Suryakant looked up from his file.

SURYAKANT: Aauo Arjun

          Arjun enter in office and sits in front of him. Arjun knows very well about what his father want to talk about. Arjun is silent and gazing at table. Suryakant release a sigh and put the file at side. He fixed his gaze at Arjun and said gently,

SURYAKANT: Me janta hoon ki tum samjh gaye ho ki maine kis bare mein baat karne ke liye tumhe yaha bulaya hai

                    Arjun said nothing.

SURYAKANT: Arjun I know it’s not easy and not a small matter. I am glad to see ki tum iss baat ko leke serious ho gaye ho… One should be have to definitely serious about this topic afterall zindagi ka itna bada decision lena hai

          He paused for a moment and said,

SURYAKANT: Iss baare mein aage baat karne se pehle me tumhe yeh batana chahta hoon ki tum mujhse kuch bhi share kar sakte ho… feel free to share anything… Maine kabhi tumhe aur Sameer ko yeh feel nahi hone diya hai ki I am your father… maine humesha se yahi koshish ki hai ki tum dono mujhe apna dost samjho… tum logon ke saath kadam se kadam mila ke chala hoon aur saari baatein share karta aaya hoon…

          Arjun looked at him with confusion. His look is like asking his father “why are you telling me all this all of a sudden?”… Suryakant read his eyes and said,

SURYAKANT: Me tumhe yeh sab issi liye keh raha hoon taaki tum mujhse apne dil ki baatein aur better tarike se share kar sako… I want to ask you ki kya tum kisi ko pasand karte ho? Kya koi ladki pehle se hai tumhari life mein jisse tum pyaar karte ho yaa shaadi karna chahte ho? I mean aisa kuch hai toh tum mujhse keh sakte ho… Mujhe tumhari pasand se koi aitraaz nahi hoga… I will support you

          Arjun nods in no and said,

ARJUN: No Dad… There’s nothing like this… meri zindagi mein koi ladki nahi hai

SURYAKANT: Humari khushi ke liye tum kuch chhupa toh nahi rahe ho naa?

ARJUN: No Dad… sach mein aisi koi baat nahi hai… agar aisa kuch hota toh me apse zaroor kehta… I have lots of female friends but vo sab sirf dost hai usse zyada aur kuch nahi

          Suryakant smile on his honesty and his answer.

SURYAKANT: Toh iska matlab hai ki hum iss rishte ke baare mein baat kar sakte hai…

          Arjun said nothing.

SURYAKANT: Itna pareshan hone ki zaroorat nahi hai dear… you know jab tumhare dadaji ne mujhse shaadi ki baat ki thi toh me bhi aise hi darr gaya tha…

          Arjun see him with surprise as if asking “Really?!”

SURYAKANT: Haan… me bhi uss waqut itne bade decision ke liye sure nahi tha… mentally poori tarah se taiyaar bhi nahi tha… bas ek hi khayal aa raha tha ki me itni badi zimeedari nibhane ke laayak hoon bhi yaa nahi

          Seeing Arjun’s face smile comes on his lips.

SURYAKANT: Tum bhi yahi soch rahe ho naa?

          Arjun nods in yes.

 SURYAKANT: Hmm lakin beta trust me tumhari mom se shaadi meri zindagi ka sab se sahi aur sab se khoobsurat decision tha, hai aur marte dum tak rahega…

          Arjun smile on this. Suryakant got up and goes near Arjun. He sits on table near Arjun.

SURYAKANT: Tumhare dadaji ne uss waqut mujhse kaha tha ki yeh humari zindagi ka ek aisa faisla hai jiss ke liye humara dil uss ek pal mein taiyar ho jaata hai jab you feel ki She is the one… aisi ladki jo humare saath zindagi ke har mod pe khadi rehti hai, humare har problem ka solution ban jaati hai… uska saath hume poori duniya ko face karne ki takat deta hai… usse milke, baat kar ke aisa lagta hai jaise life mein isse better toh kuch ho hi nahi sakta… but beta vo ladki hi sahi partner hai yaa nahi vo samjhne ke liye hume milna toh padega naa…

          Arjun think about it and nods slightly. 

SURYAKANT: Me tumhe uske parivaar ke baare mein kuch details deta hoon… Aanands… vo log uttarakhand ke Champawat town mein rehte hai…

          Arjun looked at him hearing place.

SURYAKANT: I know bohat durr hai aur ek simple sa chota sa hill station hai… You must be thinking ki hum itne bade city, itne bade mansion ke log aur vo log ek chote se hill station se belong karte hai… tumhe lag raha hoga ki hum itne high profile society se hai aur tumhare liye kisi model yaa celebrity ko naa dhundh ke aise itni dur koi simple si ladki dekh rahe hai

          Arjun immediately nods in no and said,

ARJUN: Aisa bilkul bhi nahi hai... Haan maine socha zaroor ki itni dur aap rishte ke baare mein soch rahe hai lakin isko rich and middle class ke tarazu mein maine nahi tola hai Dad aur naa hi kabhi me apni zindagi mein aisa kuch karunga… Yeh mansion, paise, servants, property yeh sab kuch humare pass hai iss ke liye I feel lucky and blessed but inn sab se rishto ko nahi toola jaa sakta… Rishte paiso se nahi dil se nibhaye jaate hai… Aaj hum yaha aalishan ghar mein bethe hai kisse pata ki kab waqut badal jaaye aur hum kisi chhote se ghar mein bethe ho… tab yeh sab chhut jayega lakin rishtey tab bhi humare saath humara hath thame honge… aur baat hai models and celebrity ki toh mujhe lagta hai ki jeevansaathi dil se khoobsurat hona chahiye, uske pass dher saare pyaar aur khushiyon ki daulat honi chahiye phir insaan koi simple aam aadmi ho yaa celebrity koi fark nahi reh jaata…

SURYAKANT: Tumhare muh se yeh sunke me kitna khush hoon I can’t express… mujhe garv hai tumpe and meri aur Nandu ki parvarish pe guroor bhi… anyways me kaha tha? Haan toh me yeh keh raha tha ki vo log champwat se belong karte hai. Humare Delhi ke client hai naa Mr. Vardhmaan Rathod…

          Arjun nods and Suryakant continue,

SURYAKANT: Unke bete Anshuman ki saali se rishtey ki baat chal rahi hai… Ladki ke papa Tej Aanand DIG hai and uski Maa aise toh housewife hai but ghar pe hi kuch chhote baccho ko tution deti hai…

          Arjun smile hearing this.

SURYAKANT: Vo log basically Delhi ke hai lakin saalo pehle jab Mr. Tej ki posting champawat mein hui toh unho ne humesha ke liye waha shift hone ka faisla le liya… Mr. Vardhmaan bata rahe the ki unki bahu Paakhi yaani ladki ki badi behen bohat hi acchi, samjhdaar aur sulji hui ladki hai… Paakhi ne Rathod sahab ka ghar bohat hi acche se sambhal liya hai… unka kehna hai ki uski chhoti behen bhi ekdam aisi hi hai… 

          Arjun hearing all this silently and attentively. Suryakant smile seeing him as he can surely say that Arjun is now half prepared to meet the family.

ARJUN (mindlessly): Aur ladki kya karti hai Dad?

          This makes Suryakant smile widely. Arjun bit his lips after his slip in total embarrassment.

ARJUN: Sorry Dad vo…

          Suryakant laughs on his cute son’s innocence.

SURYAKANT: Arjun tum bhi naa…waise maine jaanbhujh ke tumhe ladki ke baare mein nahi bataya hai kyun ki uske baare mein batane ka theka kisi aur ne le rakha hai

          Arjun narrowed his eyes on this.

SURYAKANT: Tumhari Sweetheart…Ayesha Bhabhi

          This makes Arjun giggle. Suryakant got up from table and so Arjun. Suryakant hold him by shoulder and said,

SURYAKANT: Yaad rakhna hum koi bhi faisla tab tak nahi lenge jab tak uss mein tumhari manzoori nahi hogi… abhi baat sirf ek baar milne ki hai usse zyada kuch nahi… agar tumhe lagta hai ki She is the one then and only then hum iss baat ke baare mein aage sochenge

          Arjun smile and hold his father’s hand and said,

ARJUN: Thank you so much Dad… Apse baat karne ke baad I am really feeling better and iss matter ke baare mein positively bhi socha jaa sakta hai yeh baat bhi samjh gaya hoon

          Suryakant patted his cheeks and said,

SURYAKANT: Good ab jaake ek baar apni Mom se baat kar lo… She is damn worried about all this aur phir apni Bhabhi se bhi baat kar lena… She will tell you about girl.

          Arjun nods with bit shy smile and then hugged his father tightly. Both parted after a moment and Arjun left from there. Suryakant keep looking at his retreating form with smile and pride in eyes.

Champawat

          Sakshi and Pawan are sitting at hill top. Sakshi is still sitting leaning her head on his shoulder. Seeing no movement in Sakshi finally Pawan asked her,

PAWAN: Bol naa partner kya baat hai? Teri khamoshi se ab mujhe sach mein tension ho raha hai… kya baat hui hai jo tujhe itna pareshan kar rahi hai

          Sakshi took a sigh andfinally said,

SAKSHI: Baat nahi bohat badi problem ho gayi hai partner

PAWAN: Thank god tera maunvrat toh khatam hua… bol abhi kya problem hai

SAKSHI: Vo Paakhi Di aur Jiju aaye hue hai

          This makes Pawan happy and excited.

PAWAN: What!!! Di-Jiju aaye hue hai? Kab aaye vo log? Kaisi hai Di? Tune pehle kyun nahi bataya? Me Di se milne aa jaata and by the way agar Di aayi hui hai toh phir tu yaha kya time pass kar rahi hai? Di aayi hai yeh problem hai tere liye?

          Sakshi lift her head and gave a look to him.

SAKSHI: Nahi yaar… tum meri poori baat sunoge? Humesha aadhi baat sunke hi shuru ho jaate ho

PAWAN: Sorry bol abhi aage…

          Sakshi again rested her head on him and continue,

SAKSHI: Jab mein ghar pohchi me khud Di jiju ko dekh ke surprise ho gayi… Me tumhe tabhi ke tabhi batane waali thi lakin phir Maa ne bola ki unho ne kheer banayi hai toh maine socha dinner ke baad jab kheer dene aaungi toh tumhe bataungi so maine phone nahi kiya…

PAWAN: Hmm lakin iss mein bhi mujhe problem nazar nahi aa raha hai… wait kahi tu iss liye pareshan toh nahi hai kyun ki tune mujhe call nahi kiya Di ke arrival ke baare mein batane ke liye…tujhe laga hoga ki mein gussa ho jaunga iss liye pareshan hai? Aree iss mein kon si problem wali baat hai… Me tujhe kha thodi jaata… itna boora nahi hoon mein

          Sakshi again glared at him and hits him on hand.

SAKSHI: Me pagal hoon kya jo aisa soch ke pareshan ho jaaungi?! Aisi utpatang baatein tum soch kaise lete ho

PAWAN: Ab jab log seedhi tarike se baat nahi batayenge toh aise guesses se hi kaam chalana padega naa… ek teer toh nishane pe lag hi jayega

          Sakshi makes puppy face.

PAWAN: ok sorry… ab mein kuch nahi bolunga… I promise but ab tu seedhe seedhe bata ki baat kya hai

SAKSHI: Hum sab dinner kar rahe the tab I noticed ki Maa, Papa aur Di ke bich kuch khichdi pak rahi hai…

          Pawan makes face hearing her detailed narration of problem. Sakshi read his face and said,

SAKSHI (In one breathe): Actually baat yeh hai ki Di-Jiju mere liye ek rishta leke aaye hai… vo keh rahe the ki ladka bohat accha hai and uska parivaar bhi bohat accha hai… vo log meri shaadi karwana chahte hai and chahte hai ki mein uss ladke se milu

          She finally released her breath and looked at Pawan who is in shocked state. He is looking at Sakshi with wide eyes and open mouth. Sakshi look him and make face seeing his reaction.

SAKSHI: Partner…

          But He didn’t reply.

SAKSHI (Bit loud): Partner….

          Still no reply from him. Sakshi nods in negative. She snapped her hand in front of his eyes and shout,

SAKSHI: Partner

          On which Pawan finally flicked his eyes and looked at Sakshi.

PAWAN: Itni raat ko aisa stupid joke sunane ke liye tujhe me hi mila Saki?!

SAKSHI: I am serious yaar…

          She said sadly and looked at city. Now Pawan understand why Sakshi is so much upset and stressed. He too become worried and looked at city. He asked in low voice,

PAWAN: Achanak se shaadi ki baat kaise aa gayi?

SAKSHI: Wahi toh samjh nahi aa raha hai partner… maine naa sapne mein bhi nahi socha tha ki ek din Di achank se aake itna bada bomb phod degi…

PAWAN: Tum sidhe sidhe mana kyun nahi kar deti

SAKSHI: Kya lagta hai tumhe? Maine mana karne ki koshish nahi ki hogi kya!! Ofcourse maine mana kiya tha lakin Jiju bhi iss mein involved hai aur sab se badi baat ki yeh rishta Di ke father in-law, Vardhmaan uncle ne rakha hai…  

          Pawan took a worried sigh understanding the seriousness and criticalness of the problem.

SAKSHI: I am blank… totally blank… ab kya karenge yaar…

          Pawan think for a moment and said,

PAWAN: Ek hi rasta hai… I guess this is the right time… Abhi seedha ghar jaake Tej uncle ko sach bata dete hai…

          Sakshi turn towards him and gave big smile but quickly turn it into glare and said,

SAKSHI: Stupid Idea… abhi papa ko nahi bata sakte yaar… problem ho jayega

PAWAN: Toh pehle Radhika aunty se baat karte hai… phir aunty moka dekh ke Tej uncle se baat kar legi…

SAKSHI: Yeh stupid se bhi stupid idea hai… agar Maa ko pata chala toh Maa mujhe emotional blackmail karke pareshan kar degi… Maa ko nahi bata sakte… in fact hum ghar mein iss waqut kisi ko bhi nahi bata sakte hai…

PAWAN: Lakin Saki kabhi naa kabhi toh sab ko batana hi hai naa… hum kab tak sab se sach chhupaye rakhenge… pyaar zyada din chhupta nahi hai aur hum toh pichhle 8 mahine se chhupa rahe hai… ab yeh achank shaadi ki baat aana shayad issi ka ishara hai ki hume sab ko iss baare mein bata dena chahiye… maine abhi abhi last week hi bola tha ki tere parents se naa sahi toh mere parents se baat karte hai… vo log Tej uncle aur Radhika Aunty ko convince kar lenge lakin tumne mujhe tab bhi batane nahi diya… dekh mujhe toh lagta hai ki yahi sahi moka hai… jaate hai aur sab ko jo hai vo bata dete hai

          Sakshi think about it. Her face is showing the lines of fears clearly. She nods in no and said,

SAKSHI: Nahi… abhi nahi… this is not the right time

PAWAN: Toh tere hisaab se right time kab aayega? Aur abhi iss rishtey ka kya karenge?

          Sakshi replied irritatingly,

SAKSHI: Nahi pata partner…Mujhe abhi kuch nahi pata lakin itna pata hai ki kaise bhi kar ke iss rishtey ko naa karna hai

PAWAN: Aasan nahi hai partner…sab log tumse sawal karenge… kya jawab dogi tum unhe

          Sakshi become speechless and sad. Lone tear escaped from her eyes. Pawan notice this and turn her face to him.

PAWAN: Ab iss mein rone wali kon si baat hai! pagal hai kya?

          He wiped her tears.

PAWAN: I know bohat bada problem hai but aaj tak aisa kuch bhi hua hai jo hum do no ne sort out naa kiya ho… me hoon naa tere saath

          Sakshi nods innocently.

PAWAN: Hum do no milke baaki problems ki tarah iss problem ka bhi koi naa koi solution dhundh lenge... jab tak me tere saath hoon tab tak koi bhi problem tujhe pareshan nahi kar sakti... we will solve it ok?

          Sakshi nods and fresh tears escaped from her eyes. Pawan again wiped her tears. Sakshi hugged him and starts sobbing.

PAWAN: Aree ab kyun ro rahi hai? abhi toh maine itna bhaari bharkam dialogue bhi maar liya hai yaar… jitna heavy dialogue tha utna heavy toh me khud bhi nahi hoon

          This makes Sakshi giggle. Pawan smile too and wrapped his hand around her.

PAWAN: Don’t worry Hum do no milke sab sambhal lenge… tum jab jaisa chahti ho bilkul waisa hi hoga… me teri shaadi kisi aur se nahi hone dunga

SAKSHI: Promise?

PAWAN: “Partner’s promise” Partner

          Sakshi hugged him more tightly with smile.

Mumbai

Rawte’s Paradise

          At upstairs in front of Arjun’s room’s corridor, there’s a way towards right side. Glass Bridge led to Samyesha’s room.

In room, Sameer is sitting on his bed and busy with his laptop. Ayesha come out from washroom changing into pink colour silk night gown. She goes near the mirror and remove the earrings and starts combing her hair to tie it in ponytail.

AYESHA: Apko kya lagta hai? Arjun aayega humare pass?

SAMEER: I am sure Dad usse samjha denge and phir baat sirf abhi dekhne aur milne tak ki hai… aisa toh hai nahi ki hum kal ke kal shaadi karva rahe hai

AYESHA: Yeh bhi hai but I guess Arjun ke liye yeh thoda difficult hai

SAMEER: Yeh baat sab ke liye difficult hoti hai Ayesha… Hum do no bhi toh iss stage se guzar chuke hai

          Ayesha smile and looked back at Sameer. She goes near him and sits beside him. Sameer put his laptop at side and hugged Ayesha from side. Ayesha rested her head on his chest. Sameer kissed her on head and said,

SAMEER: You know jab tumse milne ki baat ho rahi thi me bohat hi bechain tha… yeh keh sakte hai ki poori tarah se blank tha but now I understand aisa kyun hua tha

AYESHA: Kyun?

SAMEER: Ab itni khoobsurat biwi milne wali thi mujhe… meri life khushi se aur tumhari muskurahat se sajne wali thi… Jab itni saari khushiya aane wali ho bande ke pass toh phir thoda bechain hona toh banta hai naa…

          Ayesha smile shyly and burried her head more to him.

AYESHA: I missed you so much…aap ke bina yeh 3 din bohat suna suna laga… shaadi ke baad pehli baar aisa hua ki itne lambe waqut tak aap mere saath nahi the…

SAMEER: I missed you too… Abhi sirf 4 mahine hue hai humari shaadi ko lakin tumne mujhe apni itni zyada aadat laga di hai ki tum nahi hoti ho toh I feel emptiness… I can’t explain ki tum meri zindagi mein kya ho… I guess I will never able to explain it

AYESHA: Explain karne ki zaroorat hai bhi nahi… Me mehsoos kar sakti hoon aur mere liye yeh ehsaas hi kaafi hai

          Sameer tighten his hug and kissed on Ayesha’s cheeks. Same time Arjun enter in room and see the scene. He immediately turn and close his eyes saying,

ARJUN: Bhaiya room ka darwaza toh bandh kiya karo…

          Sameer and Ayesha both looked at him. Sameer nods in negative while Ayesha’s cheeks turns red. Sameer reluctantly leave her and said in irritation,

SAMEER: Accha!!! Aur teri manners kaha hai? Bina knock kiye andar ghus aata hai koi?

ARJUN: Vo bhi hai… toh kal se naa mein dhol nagade bajwane ke baad room mein aaunga

AYESHA: Ohho ab andar aa jaauo… aise muh modke peeth dikha ke baat nahi karte... 

          Arjun turns and then enter in room.

ARJUN: Bhabhi ab aisa scene dekh ke muh toh modna hi padega naa... Aakhir sharam naam ki bhi toh koi cheez hoti hai

          Sameer take the pillow and throw it on Arjun. Arjun catch it and looked at him with teasing smile. Ayesha nods in negative.

AYESHA: Aap do no ko naa fighting karne ka bahana chahiye… iss ghar mein ek boxing court ki hi kami hai…vo hota toh aap dono har 2 minute mein waha dekhne milte

          Arjun threw himself on bed and rest his back on sameer’s left shoulder and said,

ARJUN: Vo toh apne ekdam sahi kaha but you know har baar mein hi jeet jaata

          He said looking at Sameer with smile and affection which bring big smile on Sameer’s face too. He raffled Arjun’s hair and put hand around him.

          Sameer said making whatever face rolling his eyes and then both brothers burst out in pile of laughter. Ayesha see the scene with smile and admire the bond of brothers.

          Hearing this Arjun become quiet nervous and uncomfortable. Sameer and Ayesha exchange look seeing his changed face. Ayesha sense his hesitation. Sameer signal her through eyes and Ayesha nods in yes as if saying “Don’t worry I will handle.” Sameer nods back in reply. Ayesha goes near drawers and open it saying,

AYESHA: Waise Arjun abhi bohat din ho gaye hai… tumne mujhse head massage nahi karwaya hai…. chalo aauo betho… me tumhe ek accha sa head massage deti hoon

          This makes Arjun comfortable and he said,

          Saying this he sit on couch which lays under the bed. Ayesha come and sits on bed. She take the oil and start massaging his head.

          Arjun is feeling light due to massage and now ready to talk so he said,

          Saying he hold the pillow and threw it on him but Sameer keep singing.

          With that Sameer pulled Arjun on bed. Both fall on bed and starts laughing while doing masti with each other. Ayesha is also having fun seeing both brothers. She quickly click some good picture of brothers capturing the beautiful moment of them. After few minutes both brothers control their laughter.

They remember the day when they came here for the very first time and write those names.

          Sakshi and Pawan are kids and walking on the road. They see the hill and then top of it. Both starts talking in their cute voice,

PAWAN: Haan shayad… chalo chal ke dekhte hai

          Saying she hold his hand. Both walked towards hill and slowly starts climbing it with their little legs and holding each other’s hand. After a long time finally they reached at top.They both stand at top of hill. They are breathing heavily due to the hard work but the view of their city makes them happy to the core. They both start looking at the view with big smile. They exchange the look and then again looked at city.

          Sakshi nods and then look around. She saw one broken stone bench.

          Pawan nods and both sits on bench and keep looking the beauty of nature. After long time they both get up as they realised their parents must be waiting for them.

PAWAN: Naam… haan lakin kya naam rakhenge?

          Both start thinking and then looked at each other with smile as they decided the name.

PAWAN/SAKSHI: Partnal’s (Partner’s) place

          Both said together and do hifived as they both select the same name. This name sound so cute in their childish tone. Pawan search around and took one sharp small stone and starts scretching the bench.

SAKSHI: Tum yeh kya kar rahe ho?

          Pawan done with his work. Sakshi smile seeing her name. Sakshi took the stone and scretch pawan’s name beside her name.

          Sakshi tighten her hold on his hand and smile widely.

PAWAN: Ab chale?

SAKSHI: Mera naa jaane ka bilkul mann nahi hai

          Pawan laugh softly hearing her childhood dialogue. He too reply same which he replied in childhood,

PAWAN: Par jaana toh padega naa… haan lakin hum yaha roz aayenge

          Sakshi too laughs. Both starts walking down to hill. Soon they reached at Pawan’s bike.

SAKSHI: Can I?

PAWAN: Sure but promise me ki 45 se up nahi jauogi

          Sakshi nods. Pawan give key to her. Sakshi sit on bike and starts the bike. Pawan sit beside her and Sakshi start driving the bike. They start doing chitchat on the way. Pawan makes Sakshi applied break in front of ice cream corner.

SAKSHI: Yaha kyun ruke hai?

PAWAN: Ice Cream khate hai naa

          Sakshi give teasing look to him.

SAKSHI: Aunty ko call karu

          Pawan give a tough lookto her and she starts laughing.

PAWAN: Ab chalegi?

          Sakshi nods and both enter in ice cream corner. Person at counter smile seeing them.

BOY: Kya hua aap dono hafte se yaha nahi aaye?

SAKSHI: Thanks to aunty…Pawan ko last week thoda zhukam ho gaya tha naa toh Aunty ne kaha hai ki poore 1 mahine tak thanda khana bandh

SAKSHI: Ram bhaiya aap toh jante ho naa mera partner ice cream ke bina jee nahi sakta… apni girl friend se milne toh aana hi padega naa

          Sakshi and Ram both starts laughing only getting hard glare from Pawan.

          Ram nods and give them their ice cream. Both starts enjoying the ice cream. Sakshi took some selfi of both of them.

          Pawan nods. Both finish the ice cream and pay to the Ram. They come out.

          Both sit on bike and Pawan turn his bike towards Dream house. Pawan park the bike and then both enter in house. All looked at them.

RADHIKA: Sakshi kya pagalpan hai yeh? Kaha reh gayi thi? Aise khane se uth ke koi chala jaata hai kya achank? Aur phone bhi leke nahi gayi thi apna…

                    Sakshi looks down.

PAWAN: Aunty aap please gussa mat kijiye… vo thodi pareshan ho gayi thi iss liye hum bahar market ghumne chale gaye the…

TEJ: Toh isne bataya tumhe rishtey ke baare mein?

PAWAN: Ji uncle… I guess thoda zyada hi sudden ho gaya tha iss liye usne aise react kiya

          Tej nods and said,

          Sakshi looked at his father and then Pawan. He signal her to say yes so Sakshi nods in positive. Pawan looked at Paakhi and goes near her and share hug.

PAAKHI: Me theek hoon… aur tum kaise ho?

PAWAN (In her ear): Iss pagal ke rehte kaisa ho sakta hoon

          Paakhi laughs and Sakshi narrowed her eyes.

PAWAN: Me ekdam theek hoon Di… but apki bohat yaad aati hai… especially humari evening tea

PAAKHI: Haan usko toh me bhi bohat miss karti hoon

          Pawan then goes near Anshuman. Both shake hand and then share hug. After some more chit chat,

PAWAN: Nahi bas ghar jaaker khaunga… bohat tasty lag rahi hai…

                    Radhika serve the kheer and pawan had it with lot of happiness. Sakshi nods in negative and eventually smile seeing him. After that pawan left from there. Sakshi too complete her dinner. After dinner Paakhi and Sakshi are in Sakshi’s room. 

Paakhi and Sakshi are sitting on bed. Sakshi has rested her head on paakhi’s lap and she is caressing her head.

          Sakshi said nothing. Same time Anshuman enter in room. Sakshi sit straight seeing him. Anshuman sit beside Sakshi.

ANSHUMAN: Kya hua?

SAKSHI: Vo Jiju mujhe aap se sorry kehna tha… dinner ke waqut aise chali gayi toh

ANSHUMAN: It’s ok…

          Anshuman signal her and Sakshi moved towards him. Anshuman encircle his around her and take her into the side hug.

ANSHUMAN: Tujhe apne Jiju pe bharosa hai naa?

SAKSHI: Ofcourse Jiju

ANSHUMAN: Sakshi yeh shaadi ki baatein and all… you know bande ko mixed feelings ka ehsaas karwati hai… darr, excitement, sadness, happiness sab kuch ek saath feel hota hai… har koi apni life me iss pal se guzarta hi hai… phir chahe vo love marriage ho yaa arranged marriage…

          Anshuman looked down at Sakshi’s face and asked,

ANSHUMAN: Mujhe baat ghumana nahi aata iss liye direct puch raha hoon… kya teri life me koi pehle se hai?

          This question makes Sakshi stunned. She get startled. “I love you” her own words rings in her ears. Paakhi and Anshuman exchange look.

PAAKHI: Saki tu chup kyun hai? kya sach mein koi hai teri life mein?

          Sakshi think about Pawan who said to confess the love. She think for once and then said,

SAKSHI: N…na…nahi… k..koi nahi hai…

ANSHUMAN: Sakshi look baccha agar koi hai toh you can share with us… apne Jiju ko nahi batauogi toh aur kise batauogi hai naa... 

          Sakshi again think about Pawan. She nods in no and said,

SAKSHI: Nahi Jiju… kaha naa koi nahi hai

ANSHUMAN: Ok… toh phir me tujhe Rawtes ke baare mein batata hoon… ok?

          Sakshi first see Paakhi and then Anshuman. She let out a sigh and nods in yes reluctantly. 

ANSHUMAN: Waise toh unke baare mein har koi jaanta hai… aaye din newspaper aur television pe unse related news aati rehti hai… lakin me tumhe unke business aur works ki nahi unke nature ke baare mein aur unki family life ke baare mein kuch batata hoon… Suryakant uncle aur Nandita Aunty dil ke bohat saaf hai aur bohat hi kind bhi hai… unko milke dil khush ho jaata hai… unka bada beta Sameer bhi bohat hi friendly nature ka hai… uski wife Ayesha bhi bohat acchi hai… Ayesha se toh tumhari Di mili bhi hai…

          Sakshi looked at Paakhi and she nods in yes.

PAAKHI: Abhi last month hi me usse mili thi… Anshuman mere liye ek designer gown banvana chahte the toh ussi silsile mein milna hua tha… bohat hi gentle aur sweet hai…  

ANSHUMAN: Aur vo jo sab inn sab ke dil ke behad kareeb hai vo hai Arjun… Suryakant uncle ka chhota beta… ghar mein sab se chhota hai iss liye sab ka ladla hai… abhi abhi last year Cambrige se MBA complete kiya hai and now apne bhaiya aur Dad ko business mein join kiya hai…

          Sakshi is hearing everything silently as she is not intrested in all this details.

ANSHUMAN: Smart hai, good looking hai, apne Mom Dad ko aur Bhaiya Bhabhi ko bohat respect karta hai…

PAAKHI: Sakshi aisa parivaar aur aisa ladka milna aasan nahi hai... aur hum toh bas itna chahte hai ki tum family se ek baar milo… hum kaha keh rahe hai ki tu kal ke kal usse shaadi kar le…

          Sakshi think about it. Finally thinking about everything she said,

SAKSHI: Ok

ANSHUMAN (With excitement): So iss ka matlab hai tum milne ke liye taiyar ho?

SAKSHI: Hmm

          This makes Anshuman and Paakhi super happy. Paakhi hugged her sister and kissed on her forehead.

ANSHUMAN: I am sure Arjun se milne ke baad tumhe bhi lagega ki usse milne ka decision tumhari life ka best decision hai…

          Sakshi smile slightly.

PAAKHI: Maa Papa bhi bohat khush ho jaayenge

ANSHUMAN: Accha maine tujhe uska photo toh dikhaya hi nahi… waise toh tune dekha hi hoga lakin phir bhi iss tarah se dekhne mein bohat fark hota hai…

          He turn on his phone and shows the photo to Sakshi.

ANSHUMAN: Yeh hai Arjun Suryakant Rawte

          Sakshi who is not so excited to see the photo, she freeze for a moment after seeing him. (Song in background)

          Paakhi’s question breaks Sakshi’s trance. She is shocked for her reaction.

ANSHUMAN: Ab chalo so jaauo…bohat late ho gaya hai… Good Night

SAKSHI: Good Night Jiju…Good Night Di

          Paakhi and Anshuman left from there. Sakshi smack herself.

SAKSHI: Yeh kya tha Sakshi?! Tu uss photo ko aise kyun dekh rahi thi?

          Sakshi nods in negative. Sakshi closed the door and lay on bed.

Rawte’s Paradise

          Arjun is sitting on his bed. He is playing game on his phone. After sometime he close the game and lay down on bed. As soon as he closed his eyes Sakshi’s pic flashed in front of him. He quickly open his eyes. He sits on bed and surprised seeing Sakshi’s effects on him. Same time his phone beeped. Arjun swipe the message. It’s Ayesha’s message.

AYESHA’S MESSAGE: I thought apko Sakshi ko dekhne ka mann kar raha hoga… so maine socha apko pic bhej hi doon…

          Then she sent the picture.

AYESHA’S MESSAGE: So jaiiyega… pata chala itne kho gaye ki neend hi naa aayi… good night

         Ayesha’s status changed to “Offline”. Arjun typed good night and then clicked on Sakshi’s pic and starts seeing her. Smile is adoring his lips. He nods in no and closed the gallery and turn off the phone. He is about to turn off the lights but his phone starts ringing. Shree is flashing on screen. It’s a video call. Arjun come in balcony and sit on chair. He received the call and one cute curly hair guy smile looking at him.

ARJUN: Hii

SHREE: Hey… Kya kar rahe ho? So toh nahi gaye the?

ARJUN: Nahi yaar… waise bhi aaj neend aane se rahi… bolo tum kya kar rahe ho? aur by the way aaj sports club kyun nahi aaye? Pata hai maine kitna wait kiya… aur Liz vo bhi nahi aayi…tum dono kahin date vate pe gaye the kya? chup kyun hai? bolega ab…

          Shree see him with puppy face and said,

SHREE: Itne saare sawal ek saath!!! Jawab dene ka moka doge toh bolunga naa… (Being sarcastic) college mein bhi viva ke waqut sir sawal puchhne ke baad answer dene ke liye time dete hai…

          Arjun rolled his eyes and nods in negative. Shree smiles and said,

SHREE: Ok toh first me bas sone hi waala tha phir socha aaj ek baar bhi nahi mile toh baat kar leta hoon and second me aur Liza club iss liye nahi aaye kyun ki haan date pe hi gaye the

ARJUN: Mujhe bata ke nahi jaa sakte the? atleast wait toh nahi karta naa aur Liz ne bhi nahi bataya

SHREE: Plan achanak bana tha yaar…

          He said with pout. Arjun narrowed his eyes and asked,

ARJUN: Tune aaj phir Liz ko gussa dilaaya?

          Shree see him with big eyes and then slightly nods his head in yes.

ARJUN: Thoda sudhar jaa warna Liz jaisi acchi girlfriend haath se nikal jaayegi…

SHREE: Meri koi galati nahi thi… vo Vicky aur uska group hai naa unho ne mujhe kaha tha ki canteen me milte hai… unko help chahiye tha coding mein iss liye… mujhe kya pata tha ki vo log late karwa denge… iss taraf maine Liza ko bhi commitement kiya tha ki hum lecture ke baad bahar coffee pe jaayenge lakin coding mein late ho gaya toh madam gussa ho gayi… phir usko manane ke liye dinner date pe leke jaana pada… aadha mumbai ghumaya tab jaake madam ka gussa shant hua hai…

          Arjun chuckled on it on which he earn glare from Shree.

SHREE: Haan haan haso haso…jab teri girlfriend aayegi tab me dekhta hoon…

          Sakshi’s face comes in front of Arjun’s eyes hearing Shree’s comment.

SHREE: pata bhi hai kitna mushkil hota hai boyfriend ki zimeedari nibhana…

          Arjun is surprised by his own thoughts. He become bit lost in the moment. Shree notice his lost state so asked

SHREE: Kya hua? (Arjun is about to say something but Shree continue) Dekh ab mana mat karna kyun ki jiss tarah se tum mujhe jaante ho naa waise hi me tumhe jaanta hoon… tumhara face dekh ke pata chal raha hai ki koi baat hai aur abhi abhi kya bola tumne aaj neend aane se rahi right? aisa kya hua jo neend aana mushkil lag raha hai... ab chalo acche dost ki tarah tell me what happen?

          Arjun took a sigh and starts telling Shree everything.

SHREE: Wohhh kya baat hai mere sher!!! Me yaha girlfriend ki baat kar raha tha aur tu seedha shaadi ka laddu chakhne ka plan bana raha hai…

ARJUN: Shaadi ka nahi sirf milne ke baare mein soch raha hoon... and let me clear sirf soch raha hoon kuch final nahi kiya hai

SHREE: Hmm... Waise yeh Sakshi aur uski family kaafi acchi lag rahi hai…

ARJUN: Hmm ab Dad bhi itna interest le rahe hai toh koi toh baat hogi hi… but yaar me nervous ho raha hoon… I mean yeh sab kuch zyada hi odd nahi hai… suddenly kisi aisi ladki se milna jisse aap jante bhi nahi ho aur vo bhi shaadi jaisi baat ke liye… its very awkward yaar aur phir kya baat karunga mein usse???

SHREE: Hmm thoda ajeeb toh hai but I think tu manage kar lega… aur jaha tak baat hai ki kya baatein karni hai toh I guess waha jaake jab tu usse milega toh tujhe samjh aa jayega ki tujhe uske baare mein aur kya janna hai…

ARJUN: Haan yeh bhi hai

SHREE: Waise tune photo dekhi naa uski… kaisi hai vo?

ARJUN: Tu toh mera best buddy hai… tujhse kya chhupana… yaar she is so beautiful… maine aaj tak itni khubsoorat ladki nahi dekhi... ek pal ke liye toh me jaise kho hi gaya tha… uski aankhe dekho toh its full of life… she was looking so innocnet, so pure... aisa masoom sa chehra jaise ek baar dekho toh bas dekhte hi rehne ka mann kare… jaise koi angel ho... 

SHREE: Ahhan… tune toh uski aankhon pe aur chehre pe PHD kar daali yaar… kahi love at first sight wala scene toh nahi ho gaya hai... 

          He said in teasing tone.

ARJUN: Chup kar… pyaar vyaar kuch nahi hai… me bas sach bata raha tha… wahi jo maine usko dekh ke mehsoos kiya… isse zyada kuch bhi nahi

SHREE: Haan haan lakin tere muh se kisi ladki ki tariff toh maine pehli baar hi suni hai… that too such deep and intense words…

          Arjun smile slightly again thinking about Sakshi.

SHREE: Chal chod yeh bata kab milne wala hai tu usse?

ARJUN: Pata nahi hai lakin jiss tarah Dad aur Bhaiya baat kar rahe the I am sure it’s going to happen very soon... vo bas meri haan ka wait kar rahe hai... 

SHREE: Dekh mujhe lagta hai tumhe haan kehna chahiye baaki toh jo hona hoga vo toh hoke hi rahega so iss baat ko leke zyada stress mat lena… I know baat teri zindagi se judi hui hai but vo log kehte hai naa ki jodiya uppar se bankar aati hai… agar teri kismat mein Sakshi hi hai toh phir teri shaadi hoke hi rahegi aur agar koi aur hogi toh vo bhi waqut rehte tumhe mil hi jaayegi... abhi ke liye time ke flow ko accept karna hi best option hai

          Arjun nods in yes with smile.

ARJUN: True... 

SHREE: Anyways kal milte hai night club mein… tu aa raha hai naa?

ARJUN: Kal meri Mr. Iyer ke sath meeting hai jaise hi khatam hogi mein tujhe inform karunga… tu uske baad hi club ke liye nikalna

SHREE: Theek hai… chal phir kal baat karte hai… Good night

ARJUN: Good Night

           Both disconnect the call. Arjun see the Sakshi’s pic again. After a moment he locked his phone, turn off the lights and sleep on bed but sleep is far away from his eyes. He is remembering all the details his family revealed about Sakshi and her family.

          Sakshi is also thinking about whatever Paakhi told her about Arjun and his family. Again Arjun’s face flashed in front of her eyes.

SAKSHI: Kaisa ladka hai yeh…abhi toh sirf tasveer dekhi hai itne mein hi pareshan karne laga hai… poori life kaise beetegi iske sath… waise bhi mein yeh kya bakwaas soch rahi hoon… Mujhe mera pyaar mil chuka hai aur me uske allawa kisi aur ke baare mein kabhi soch bhi nahi sakti…

          She looked at her phone and open the contact list but stop and locked the phone again.

SAKSHI: rehne deti hoon… so gaya hoga…

          She smile shyly and then closed her eyes covering herself with blanket.
